Evil Demon in the Clouds, Devouring the Rumble-Rumble Fruit

Birca.

This Sky Island was far larger than Lin Nuo had imagined.

It was tightly composed of more than a dozen "cumulus clouds" of varying sizes.

These cloud islands were not stationary, but drifted slowly at a specific altitude.

Lin Nuo was currently lying at the edge of a miniature cumulus cloud.

He had returned to human form, his Black Wing folded behind him, while he clutched a crumpled map in his hand.

"No one named Hel ever came here at all!"

Lin Nuo sighed, crumpled the map into a ball, and threw it forcefully into the sea of clouds.

The paper ball traced an arc through the air before quickly being swept away by an updraft and vanishing into the rolling clouds below.

He had practically flown across every cloud island in Birca, yet he still could not find the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

Flying continuously consumed a great deal of stamina as well.

With no other options left, Lin Nuo had landed on this relatively calm miniature cloud to rest.

The cloud surface was soft as a sponge and quite comfortable to lie on. It would have been even better with some fruit to eat.

Lin Nuo stared at the gloomy clouds overhead.

"Devil Fruits really aren't that easy to find... This place is just too big."

He remembered the first fruit he had eaten—the Phoenix Fruit.

That had been at God Valley, snatched right under the noses of God's Knights. The process had been dangerous, but at least the target had been clear. The fruit had been sitting inside a treasure chest.

But the Rumble-Rumble Fruit was different...
