Background / History

Feng Xiu was the Demon God Emperor and ruler of the Heaven-defying Demon Dragon Clan. In his original life, he sought to conquer humanity, assimilate it into the Demon Race, and eventually launch an interplanar war. Those ambitions ended after humanity destroyed all seventy-two Demon God Pillars and defeated both the Demon Race and Austin Griffin. 1

Rather than leave Bai Yue and Long Haochen in an impossible position, Feng Xiu chose suicide. Bai Yue calling him “Father” and Bai Lingxuan’s final blood letter allowed him to die peacefully, but his soul endured and was pulled through a spatial rift into the Divine Forbidden Land. 1

There, Feng Xiu met the Golden Dragon King, who recognized him as a distant dragon descendant. The Golden Dragon King offered him the Time-Space Stone and a chance to rewrite the Holy Demon Continent’s history. In return, Feng Xiu agreed to eventually bring Long Haochen to the Divine Forbidden Land, reconcile with former enemies, and assist in restoring the Dragon Race. 2

The Time-Space Stone returned Feng Xiu to the day after his first separation from Bai Lingxuan, rather than to the beginning of their relationship. Determined not to lose her again, he survived the interception by the Demon God’s Fall and Demon Slayer Demon Hunt Squads with less severe injuries than in the original timeline. 3 5

After recovering, Feng Xiu secretly entered the Temple Alliance through a grain-trade caravan and reunited with the pregnant Bai Lingxuan. He confessed that “Feng Ling” was the Demon God Emperor; despite the deception, she accepted his love. 7 8

Feng Xiu later preserved Bai Yue’s future connection to Long Haochen by arranging her blood exchange with Bai Lingxuan, removing Bai Yue’s demonic aura. He used the Source of Life and a secret technique to prevent the fatal and debilitating consequences suffered in the original timeline. 9

He brought Bai Lingxuan and Bai Yue to Demon Capital Heart City, named Bai Lingxuan empress, and began preparing Long Haochen—his future grandson—as his intended successor. He later sent Bai Yue into the Temple Alliance, approved her relationship with Long Xingyu, and took her back to the Demon Race to raise the newborn Long Haochen himself. 10 11
