"Alright. Just activate the War God Whip and reverse the Soul-Devouring Formation," Fire Spirit Child said.
Shen Luo nodded and began channeling Magic Power into the War God Whip. Once it lit up, he pointed it at the Magic Formation on the ground.
"Whoosh."
A gust of wind sounded as a layer of light rose from the War God Whip, spreading outward and illuminating the entire Magic Formation.
A spiral beam of light rose from the formation, instantly enveloping Dragon Fang within the peach tree and lifting him into the air. Fine white threads of light extended from the formation and pierced the acupoints atop his head and at his temples.
Dragon Fang's entire body immediately went rigid as he convulsed continuously in midair.
Immediately afterward, a slightly thicker white thread of light darted forward like a probing spirit snake and stabbed into his brow.
Dragon Fang's body jolted violently before he stopped convulsing. His eyes rolled back, revealing large patches of white.
Fire Spirit Child stepped forward and waved a hand over the formation. A mass of vapor rose up, condensing in midair into a floating mirror wreathed in clouds.
As the Water Cloud Mirror appeared, intermittent images began to emerge within it.
Shen Luo narrowed his eyes and carefully examined those images.
As time passed, fragments of Dragon Fang's memories flashed by like a revolving lantern, appearing one after another in the Water Cloud Mirror.
Yet after only the time it took to drink a cup of tea, Dragon Fang's body suddenly began trembling violently again. He seemed to be struggling, trying to break free from the Soul-Devouring Formation's control.
Even the images in the Water Cloud Mirror shook violently, becoming impossible to discern.
"Fellow Daoist Fire, is there any way to stabilize him?" Shen Luo could not
