Main World: Storm
The sky was shrouded in black, and the rain lashed down as though flung by the wind. Towering waves surged toward the heavens. In such weather, no ship dared put to sea.
Romon landed on a barren island with a bitter smile. The island covered only about ten square kilometers, not even enough to form stable streams. Other than grass, trees, and rocks, there was nothing.
He looked around. Not a scrap of land was visible—only several solitary rocky reefs in the distance, and, some fifteen nautical miles to the west, an island even smaller than this one.
Such islands held little development value, yet they were the most common kind at sea.
Perhaps because it had suffered a severe blow during its formation, the Main World currently possessed only one continent and had yet to grow multiple continents.
Still, Romon had no ambition to discover a new continent. He merely wanted to find a new island.
Yet even in the Main World, gods were greatly limited. So far, every island he had found had been unusable.
Facing the storm, Romon gave another bitter smile, then flew back into the sky and pressed farther onward.
Romon refused to believe that the vast ocean held no suitable island.
Rain slanted down. From time to time, a streak of blue light tore through the pitch-black night sky. When the lightning vanished, heaven and earth fused into one again, and everything was swallowed by boundless darkness and the sound of rain.
A moment later, heavy thunder rolled through the clouds, while golden electric fire churned amid the dense, moving black clouds.
