The Feli Kingdom lay at the southernmost tip of the continent, where spring and summer lasted all year round. Its climate was warm, its vegetation lush, and the diversity of its creatures was preserved more fully here than anywhere else.
The Feli Kingdom possessed the largest forest on the entire continent. Deep within it stood the headquarters of a major organization-the Druid Guild.
Druids loved nature and enjoyed being close to it. Unlike other guilds, such as the Adventurers' Guild and the Mages' Guild, their headquarters-the Druid Grand Guild-had not been built in a crowded city or even a less populous town. Instead, it stood in the forest.
The architecture of the Druid Grand Guild was also closely attuned to nature. The entire building was blue and white, and it occupied a large tract of land deep within the forest.
All kinds of plants and flowers grew naturally beside the building. Because the druidic presence here was so strong, the plants growing nearby were healthier and more vigorous than those elsewhere.
Several adorable little animals bounded through the bushes, looking utterly at ease. Alongside them were swarms of bees and butterflies, fluttering around the flowers and pausing briefly on leaves. In this land of perpetual spring, they freely scattered their beautiful, brilliant colors.
A faint fragrance of flowers and greenery filled the air. Usually, there were few people coming and going. Even when a robed Druid occasionally emerged, their expression was serene and their movements unhurried. The place had the beauty of a secluded paradise.
On this day, however, the hurried rumble of a carriage suddenly came from beyond the forest. Soon, a spacious, luxurious carriage stopped in front of the building.
