This was a barren land, where foul rivers and swamps lay everywhere. Romon frowned.
On the beach were insects that made human skin crawl.
These insects resembled medium-sized worms, yet each had a human face growing from its head, making them terrifying to behold.

Imps did not even possess forms of their own. They all looked exactly alike, like a cloned army.
What awaited them was a cruel environment. The fortunate ones accumulated enough power to molt into Greater Demons, gaining their own status and form. This was a fundamental leap in their lives, but they remained far from possessing true names and brands.

After stirring up a heap of trouble, Romon had immediately fled. By now, he had run a considerable distance from the place where he had caused that trouble.
The place where he now stood was especially dim. In this Abyssal World, aside from the red sun, stars would sometimes suddenly appear in the sky, and without exception, these stars radiated a measure of energy.
Yet such stars were few. It was said that when the plane's movements encountered energy-filled planes, they produced this starlight.
Even the radiance of Divine Kingdoms was not impossible, though such chances
