Ch. 901Victory upon victory (Part two)
The Salante Fief captured Bonan City after Elno killed Sayo, the Sea God, and its army killed Sanguse. Haboba and Bishop Kanrongpa brought the relocated captives back to the main city and planned to absorb them while preparing for possible attacks from the other fiefs.
- Elno breached Bonan City's wall, defeated and devoured Sayo, and the Romon Army killed Sanguse amid the city's fall.
- Count Gao Hata heard that Bonan City had been conquered and burned, while leaders in Qiaoerli City debated joining forces against the Salante Fief.
- The Salante Fief split the relocated captives among villages, leaving about four thousand people, including skilled artisans and shipwrights, to reach the main city.
- Haboba and Bishop Kanrongpa said they would absorb the captives, watch for signs that their lord's secret had leaked, and stockpile grain in case the other fiefs attacked.
