The severed vines regrew at once. Yu Tu knew he had no advantage against Lan Xiao; his vines held a strange, son-like affection for Lan Xiao.

The wildly growing vines split apart and swept toward Lan Xiao from several directions. As Yu Tu retreated, he drew the energy gun at his waist, aimed at Lan Xiao's heart, and pulled the trigger!

Unwearied swiftly deflected the energy bullet. One hand grabbed a Violet Slaughter Vine, using its force to leap toward Yu Tu. Unwearied danced wildly, dense and violent blade winds shredding the Violet Slaughter Vine that had rapidly formed a wall before Yu Tu.
