Yu Tu turned his head and looked at Lu Mi expectantly.

Lu Mi answered for him, "Lord Lan, follow your method. Don't hold back. I'll handle him."

Lan Su nodded, set the notebook and pen in his hands on the coffee table, then turned and had his wheelchair carry him toward the lab.

The lab was sterile and sealed, with a blue-light disinfection passage beyond the entrance.

Once inside the lab, Lu Mi raised a hand to cover Yu Tu's eyes and led him to a chair with the other.

When Lan Su came over with the blood-drawing tools, Lu Mi stared at the needle in his hand. "He doesn't like that very much. He had a stress reaction in the infirmary before."

Lan Su raised a brow. "A stress reaction isn't something you can fend off just by covering Yu Tu's eyes."

"I know." Lu Mi looked unusually awkward. "I have my own clever method."

"Fine." Lan Su took out a tourniquet. "Commander Yu Tu, raise your arm and roll up your sleeve."

Yu Tu rolled up his sleeve, revealing a slightly pale wrist. Lan Su tied the tourniquet around his arm, ten centimeters above the elbow, disinfected the area, and took out the blood-drawing needle.

The instant the needle pierced his skin, Yu Tu's entire body tensed sharply, and frightening veins bulged along his neck.

Lu Mi took a step back and panted heavily several times. When he looked up, he saw Yu Tu reaching to remove the Energy Lock Ring on his hand.

Lu Mi jumped in fright and hurriedly rushed over to hug Yu Tu, showering his face with frantic kisses. "Baby, I swear, you're the only one I've ever kissed!"

Yu Tu stopped moving and turned to look at him.
