Huo Hai cautiously crept closer. Though this was called the center of Cloud Mountain, the central area itself was not very large. Where the six mountain ranges converged, only the very centermost point was an open stretch of ground.
As Huo Hai gradually approached, he finally saw what lay within. For some reason, the number of Spirit Beasts here had suddenly increased. There were at least forty or fifty Spirit Beasts packed into the center. All of them crowded into such a cramped space, creating the illusion that Cloud Mountain was overflowing with Spirit Beasts.
At the very center, Huo Hai finally saw that this was indeed where Spirit Beasts of the Spirit Practitioner Realm gathered. The difference was that there were only three of them. In such a vast Cloud Mountain, there were only this few powerful Spirit Beasts.
Still, he could not ask for too much. In a place like the Western Frontier, having three Spirit Beasts in the Spirit Practitioner Realm within a single mountain was already terrifying enough. Combined with the dense mist shrouding the area, Cloud Mountain's danger was no empty boast.
The strongest Spirit Beast in the middle was a snow-white serpent. It was enormous, seeming like either a python or an enlarged venomous snake. From this distance, Huo Hai could not see clearly. Snakes were naturally poor-sighted, making this place ideal for them to survive in. It had to be said that Cloud Mountain contained a great number of snake-type Spirit Beasts and wild beasts.
Beside it were two slightly weaker Spirit Beasts. One was a snow-white giant bear, which looked imposing but was actually the weakest of the three. Its eyes had completely degenerated, and there was no trace of the organ on its head.
The other was a white giant wolf.
