Huo Hai had no idea how much time had passed before he finally opened his eyes slowly. With a groan, he pushed himself upright. He had no strength anywhere in his body and felt limp all over.
Huo Hai knew his body had not actually lost its strength. Nothing was wrong with him, and even his spiritual power flowed smoothly and normally. His discomfort came from the tremendous shock his mind had suffered earlier, followed by a second onslaught of information. The resulting mental exhaustion made his entire body feel weak.
Once he sat up, Huo Hai immediately noticed the layer of dust covering him. "Damn it, how long was I lying here?" The dust told him that he had certainly been here for more than a little while.
Judging by that layer of dust, he had spent at least two or three days here, perhaps even longer. Putting that aside, Huo Hai stood up and shook the dust off his body. Then he began examining the new additions to his memories.
"I never imagined this world really had techniques like body possession." Huo Hai searched through the memories. The new information had been left behind by that skeleton. Its original owner had been named Heavenly Soul Ancestor. Unfortunately, not even his bones remained now. There was only a pile of dust on the ground, and a gust of wind would leave nothing behind.
Huo Hai even suspected that much of the dust on his body had come from the skeleton crumbling into ash. Although these memories were incomplete, the more he examined them, the more impressed he became. Heavenly Soul Ancestor truly had been a heaven-blessed genius.
After examining some of the fragmented memories, Huo Hai gradually realized that Heavenly Soul Ancestor had not actually come from the Ink
