Background

Big Black originated from an alien civilization and attended Shidetakowa Academy. Branded its “biggest failure,” he was sent alone aboard a one-way exile vessel intended for the Rikman Coal-Mining Planet. A white hole threw the vessel off course; after traveling 108,000 light-years, its guidance system led it to Earth. The rejection and abandonment remained a painful subject for him despite his usual bluster 31.

By the time he appears in Fu Junlin’s life, Big Black exists inside Fu’s body and must negotiate for periods of control. His early agreement grants him up to forty minutes of daily activity at Fu’s discretion, while his unauthorized control is initially limited to a few muscles and rapidly exhausts him 12 16.

His central purpose becomes strengthening Fu Junlin through Gene Lock training, combat experience, and alien knowledge. Although Fu initially fears being possessed, their arrangement gradually develops into a reciprocal partnership: Fu supplies a body and protection, while Big Black provides combat ability, scientific insight, and a path to superhuman evolution 16 33 101.

Big Black cannot yet permanently leave Fu Junlin. A replacement body requires genetic seeds and a host body with at least 30% of its Gene Lock unlocked 101. After recovering a turtle-shell-shaped “nest,” he can recharge and move between it and Fu’s body, provided the nest remains against Fu’s body 364.

Appearance

Big Black has no ordinary independent human appearance while residing within Fu Junlin. When fully manifested through Fu, he becomes a monstrous black humanoid reported at roughly three to three-and-a-half meters tall, with rugged lava-like skin, heavily knotted muscles, black eyes, and glowing red pupils 142 510.

Personality

Big Black is loud, impulsive, competitive, and obsessed with physical training. He dismisses elemental combat as a shortcut for the weak and considers direct bodily strength the “true path.” His preferred solution to most problems is to train harder, hit harder, or let someone hit him harder 42 68 90.

He is also socially awkward and prone to mangling idioms, treating dangerous situations with childish excitement. His apparent arrogance conceals a deep need for recognition: the cheers after his first Combat Arena victory affect him profoundly because he had seldom been valued by his own civilization 69 517.

Despite constantly mocking Fu Junlin, Big Black is intensely protective of him. He fears Fu becoming helpless without his support, urges him to grow stronger independently, and panics when Fu’s consciousness enters hibernation 141 485. His bond with Fu ultimately becomes familial rather than parasitic.
