Background

Tang Tian was once a respected, top-tier alchemist. After he was besieged and his former body was reduced to dust, the Black Treasure Pagoda preserved his soul and rebirthed him in the body of another youth also named Tang Tian. 1 2

The original Tang Tian was the fifteen-year-old son of Tang Lingyun, head of the Tang Family in Starfall City. Regarded as a useless Meridian Refining Realm cultivator, he had long endured contempt from relatives, guards, and rivals. His childhood engagement to Qin Yuexi made him a target of Lin Baoquan, who lured him into Starfall Forest and arranged his murder. 3

Awakening while the attackers were beating the body, Tang Tian fought back despite his injuries, maiming Sun Zihang before the pagoda erupted from his dantian. Its power annihilated Lin Baoquan and the other attackers, then shielded Tang Tian while restoring his body. 1 2

After returning to Starfall City, Tang Tian assumed the original body's identity fully, first avenging its death and later accepting the Tang Family as his own.
