Background

Ye Ruxue is the eldest daughter of the Ye Family in Starfall City. Despite her young age, she is recognized as an exceptional cultivator; at fourteen, she had already reached the Organs-Hiding Realm after her breakthrough in Heavenly Thunder Valley 24.

She first encounters Tang Tian in the depths of Starfall Forest while protecting the Thunderclap Beast from Ximen Lian and four Falling Star Sect outer disciples. Surrounded by opponents of comparable cultivation, she refuses to surrender the beast or submit to their threats 16.

Tang Tian diverts the disciples’ attention to himself, and Ye Ruxue refuses to abandon him despite believing that his apparent early Blood-Burning Realm cultivation makes the situation hopeless. She defeats Ximen Lian and joins Tang Tian in eliminating the Falling Star Sect disciples 17 18 19.

Afterward, she provides Tang Tian with information about the Heavenly Thunder Vine and voluntarily accompanies him into Heavenly Thunder Valley. Although he urges her to leave when they learn the Heavenly Thunder Python is near the Organs-Hiding Realm, she refuses to break her promise and commits to remaining with him even at the risk of her life 20 21.

During the battle for the Heavenly Thunder Vine and Thunder Cherry Blossoms, Ye Ruxue gathers the herbs and protects the Thunderclap Beast while Tang Tian restrains the python. When Tang Tian is struck by its lightning attack, she attacks the wounded beast in fury, breaks through to the Initial Organs-Hiding Realm, and helps finish it 22 23 24.

Tang Tian gives her the Heavenly Thunder Python’s Demon Core and entrusts its hide, bones, and fangs to her family for weapon refinement. The two begin addressing each other by their given names, marking the shift from formal allies to close companions 25.

Although outwardly reserved, she is compassionate toward those she considers worth protecting. She rescues the Thunderclap Beast before meeting Tang Tian, tries to save Tang Tian when she believes he is outmatched, and later protects him when he becomes distracted during the battle between the great families 17 24 45.
