Background / History

Zhang Yang died during a flight and awakened inside an eggshell as a newborn Golden Horned Beast. His inherited memories taught him that his species grows by consuming metal and possesses the innate talents Enhancement, Devouring, and Clone. After eating his shell, he reached the Planetary level and survived alone on the ore-rich but lifeless Chiyun Star. 1

After five years of mining and devouring ore, he left Chiyun Star by hijacking the Sirius clan mining ship Rocksplitter. He named himself Golden Horn, killed Stellar third-order officer Steel Fang, and escaped with the assistance of the terrified wolf demons Big Black and Second Black. The Sirius clan responded by dispatching a pursuit force led by a Universe-level expert. 2

Unable to defeat the pursuer, Golden Horn drove Rocksplitter into the Void Vortex Domain. There, he entered a collapsing secret realm filled with Blue Fruits, Red Fruits, spatial rifts, explorers from many races, and a hostile Void Beast. He acquired Void Beast feathers, later using them to create his first clone. 3 5 9 11

Golden Horn and the human expert Giant Axe survived the secret realm together, collected vast spoils, and escaped the spatial collapse. Golden Horn then chose Myriad Monster Star over Human Race territory, reasoning that the Demon Race would be less suspicious of his appearance. 12 13

On Myriad Monster Star, he adopted the cover identity of a Gray-Horn Beast from an unnamed mining planet. He established legal identification, accumulated resources, trained in seclusion, and became a Copper Skull Hunter of the Monster Hunting Hall. 15 17 20

A Sirius clan trap eventually led to the destruction of Golden Horn's original body by a Sector Lord. His Origin Core had been concealed elsewhere, allowing his consciousness to survive through the Void Beast clone. He spent a year regenerating his true body while the clone publicly entered the Monster Hunting Hall under the name Silver Horn. 23 24

After the original body was reborn, Golden Horn secretly advanced to the Universe level. Silver Horn continued training as a spatial genius, reached Earth-level status in the Ranking Tournament, and gained access to greater Monster Hunting Hall resources. 40 41 50

Appearance

Golden Horn's original body is a massive black-scaled beast with clawed limbs, a thick tail, vertical pupils, and a distinctive golden horn. He can manipulate his flesh and bones to conceal these traits when moving through Demon Race society. 1 14

Golden Horn is defined by survival-minded caution. He studies unfamiliar opponents, avoids battles he cannot win, disguises his identity, and routinely protects his Origin Core before entering dangerous situations. When a Universe-level Sirius pursuer proved impossible to defeat, he chose the deadly Void Vortex Domain rather than accept certain capture. 3 12 25

He is highly pragmatic with both resources and relationships. He treats useful allies fairly, rewards Mouse Nine-Nine generously, and cooperates effectively with Giant Axe and later with Shi Tai, Wind Shadow, and Fox Meier.
