Background

The Six Eyes are granted to Kaguya Yama by the Jujutsu System immediately after his first kill. Their awakening turns an imminent ambush into Yama's first decisive battle: he sees chakra pathways, muscle contractions, weapon trajectories, and several possible continuations of an enemy's attack before reacting instinctively. 2

Although the ability initially processes information without burden during the system-protected awakening, later uses nearly overwhelm Yama's mind. He spends years relying on a black blindfold, herbal calming methods, combat experience, and deliberate filtering to live with the constant flow of sensory information. 3

Tsunade identifies the Six Eyes as an ocular power distinct from both the Byakugan and Sharingan. She concludes that while the Byakugan sees chakra pathways and the Sharingan copies techniques, the Six Eyes can analyze the underlying essence of techniques themselves. She warns Yama to conceal them from those who might covet such an ability. 14

During Yama's clash with Orochimaru, prolonged full-output use exposes the ability's greatest weakness: his brain cannot safely sustain the volume of information it receives. After obtaining Reverse Cursed Technique, he can heal this damage continuously and operate the Six Eyes at full capacity without the former overload symptoms. 71 83
