Background
Born as Kaguya Yama, Sōji fled the Land of Water as a child because of his Shikotsumyaku bloodline. During a rogue-ninja attack on Achun’s caravan, he made his first kill with a finger-bone projectile; this awakened the Jujutsu System and granted him the Six Eyes. He subsequently revealed himself to Achun as a Kaguya Clan survivor. 2
He retains memories of a previous life, in which he worked delivering food, and recognizes the world’s people and events from the original Naruto story. His escape during the Kaguya rebellion occurred when he was six, with assistance from the Fujiwara Family’s second son. The family later explains that its intervention arose from friendship between the Fujiwara and Kaguya families. 19 34 87 191 215
Achun’s caravan took him in, and he spent the next six years publicly living as Yamada Sōji. He defended the caravan, expanded its trade routes, and helped establish its Tanzaku Town base. During this period, repeated battles against rogue ninja, bandits, rival guards, and pursuers increased his cursed energy and developed his Shikotsumyaku, Black Flash, and Ice Formation. 3
Sōji remained in Tanzaku Town primarily to seek Tsunade’s help with his worsening bloodline disease. Tsunade and Shizune treated him for a year, while Sōji developed precise control over his bone regeneration. The treatment cured the disease by removing contaminated bones outside the body and inducing the regeneration of healthy replacements. 6 7
Afterward, Sōji traveled with Tsunade and Shizune, initially acquiring medical knowledge through a financial exchange. His Six Eyes allowed him to rapidly analyze chakra pathways and medical techniques, leading Tsunade to entrust him with advanced instruction and eventually treat him as a true disciple. 12 26 34
Following his departure from Tanzaku Town, he gave Achun complete authority over Yamada Trading Company, signed a Shikkotsu Forest summoning contract under his true name, and began a solo journey toward the Land of Water. His long-term ambitions include investigating the Kaguya Clan’s origins, confronting Kirigakure, and potentially becoming Mizukage. 35 37
While traveling independently, Sōji acquired the Inverted Spear of Heaven and Cursed Spirit Manipulation through System draws. He later rescued Karin from Kusagakure, took her in as his student, and trained her in chakra control, medical ninjutsu, physical conditioning, and sensory techniques. 37 53 58 60
His conflict with Orochimaru, Kimimaro, and Kabuto exposed the Six Eyes’ severe neurological burden. Sōji used the Yin Seal, Creation Rebirth, Black Flash, and the Inverted Spear of Heaven against Orochimaru, but required slug-assisted treatment afterward; the encounter convinced him to obtain Reverse Cursed Technique. 68 71 72 74
After Karin became the Three-Tails’ jinchūriki, he carried her back to the Land of Fire and instructed her to prepare for the beast’s awakening and learn to control her newly awakened Adamantine Sealing Chains. 80
Achun mortgaged Yamada Trading Company and secured a 1.5-billion-ryō loan so that Sōji could purchase Reverse Cursed Technique. Its mastery permanently resolved the Six Eyes’ sensory-overload damage and allowed him to operate the ability at full output. 83
Sōji eventually returned openly to the Land of Water as Kaguya Yama, challenged the Kaguya Clan’s designation as traitors, and declared his candidacy for Mizukage. After proving his strength against Mei Terumi, he was appointed commander-in-chief of Kirigakure’s ANBU and placed in charge of its medical department. 88 91 92
In a sealed ANBU chamber, Sōji attempted to assimilate a dangerous source of Kaguya-origin chakra. The process nearly killed him, but the life force contained in Tsunade’s First Hokage necklace activated, enveloping him in Wood Release vines and preserving him in a cocoon for seven days. He emerged physically transformed, with greatly increased chakra, Wood Release, and All-Killing Ash Bones. 97 98 99 101
As ANBU commander, Sōji established the Zero Squad, also called the Shadow Guard, as a force directly answerable to himself and Mei. He continues to build Kirigakure’s military, economic, and diplomatic influence while positioning himself as Mei’s likely successor rather than immediately seizing the Mizukage title. 122 127 151
He later rescued the Hōzuki brothers from Sound ninja and offered them a return to Kirigakure under Mei’s restored clan registry. Mangetsu and Suigetsu subsequently joined the Shadow Guard’s activities, and Sōji incorporated them into combat deployments and individualized training. 135 136 142 164
After acquiring Hajime Kashimo’s electrical cursed-energy techniques, Sōji combined them with Lightning Release Nintaijutsu and subdued nine of the Ten Shadows shikigami. He subsequently completed senjutsu training in Shikkotsu Forest, further developed Wood Release, and demonstrated his growing strength by overwhelming Jiraiya even after the latter entered Sage Mode. 164 180 186 207
Sōji returned to Mount Katsuragi to address Hotaru’s future and contact Utakata. He then negotiated Tsuchigumo participation in a takeover of Kusagakure alongside Grass Flower, linking the operation to a secret alliance with the Land of Water and joint administration of the international prison. His cursed energy surpassed one million during the Kusagakure operation, unlocking Limitless and Unlimited Void. 192 195 214
He later led a Hidden Mist delegation to Konoha for joint Chūnin Exam negotiations and proposed rebuilding the former Land of Whirlpool through cooperation among the Lands of Fire, Water, and Lightning. Afterward, he accompanied his party to Hidden Cloud’s Island Turtle for training, where Samui was assigned responsibility for their logistics and training records. 207 209 212
A subsequent System upgrade made a main mission with four story-linked sub-missions explicit. Sōji revised his plans around preserving the original story’s overarching course, avoiding interference with Naruto’s and Sasuke’s destinies while continuing diplomatic and economic projects. His immediate goals include mastering Limitless, subduing Mahoraga, and obtaining the tailed-beast chakra required to awaken the Ten-Tails. 215 216
Political Career
Kirigakure Service
Sōji’s return to the Land of Water began as an attempt to restore the Kaguya Clan’s standing and gain eligibility to compete for Mizukage. City Lord Miki Hiroyuki confirmed that Mei Terumi’s reforms had repudiated the Blood Mist era’s persecution of bloodline clans and that the Kaguya rebellion may have opposed the genjutsu-controlled Fourth Mizukage rather than constituted simple treason. 88
Mei accepted Sōji’s claim only after testing him personally. He defeated her strongest Boil Release mist by covering himself in regenerating bone armor, forcing Mei to end their duel and appointing him Hidden Mist ANBU commander-in-chief. Sōji accepted on the condition that he retain sole authority over matters involving the Three-Tails’ jinchūriki. 91 92
As commander, he oversees ANBU assignments with Ao as his deputy, expands the organization’s training infrastructure, and works to recruit or eliminate dangerous Blood Mist-era defectors. His command style emphasizes strengthening personnel rather than needless execution; during his challenge against thirty-four ANBU, he incapacitated opponents while deliberately avoiding fatal wounds. 103 104 107 127
During the Northern Frontier rebellion in the Land of Crafts, he accepted the daimyo’s request to capture Iron Ingot alive and spare as many local rebels as possible. He distinguished those rebels from foreign rogue ninja, ordering the latter’s elimination and assigning Shadow Guard members to recover Kirigakure’s stolen swords from Kushimaru Kuriarare and Raiga Kurosuki. He considered their service to rebels a political liability that required a decisive response to repair relations with the Land of Crafts. 142
Sōji also oversees individualized strengthening of Zero Squad: Mangetsu refines Hydrification, Ye Tong develops her Scorch Release Giant, and Karin and Suigetsu practice taijutsu and Water Release. 164
Mizukage Ambition
Sōji regards becoming Mizukage as the means to protect the Land of Water from foreign manipulation, strengthen its independence, and prevent the persecution that destroyed the Kaguya Clan. His political advice to Mei prioritizes consolidating the Land of Water’s alliances and naval strength before confronting the Land of Gulf Stream and provoking the Land of Lightning. 38 88 151
Although Mei remains Mizukage, Sōji is increasingly treated by Kirigakure’s leadership as a future successor and a central military-political authority. 109 118 151
His broader vision combines economic influence through trade with overwhelming military strength to restrain the Five Great Nations. He does not claim that peace can last forever, but believes that he and Tsunade, as future Mizukage and Hokage, could maintain peace through their power and an alliance between their villages. 123 169
Diplomacy and Regional Development
Sōji’s diplomatic work increasingly connects military cooperation with trade, infrastructure, and specialized training. 169 195 207 209
- Water-Lightning Alliance: By his reunion with Tsunade, the alliance has been signed with non-aggression and intelligence-sharing terms. He briefs her on its implications for a future Hokage. 169
- Kumogakure training wager: He stakes three unconditional Kirigakure favors on a match with the Fourth Raikage, demanding Lightning Release Nintaijutsu and the advanced jinchūriki methods used by Killer B and Yugito, including conscious Tailed Beast Transformation and two-way power sharing. He subsequently receives the nintaijutsu scroll and arranges Hidden Cloud training for Karin and Utakata. 159 161 207 212
- Kusagakure alliance: He persuades the Tsuchigumo Clan to cooperate with Grass Flower in taking control of Kusagakure while preserving its name and ninja organization. His conditions include a secret alliance with the Land of Water, joint management of the international prison, and Hotaru’s future service as a Hidden Mist ninja. 195
- Joint Chūnin Exams: He represents Hidden Mist in Konoha, requests five participating teams instead of two, and argues for distributing hosting responsibilities rather than holding every round in Konoha. His case includes ticket revenue, broadcasting income, and the exams’ entertainment value. 207
- Land of Whirlpool reconstruction: He proposes a protected transit town, settlement by surviving Uzumaki, governance through three resident representatives, and a jointly supervised sealing research institute. The Third Hokage accepts further negotiations and assigns Shikaku to produce a final plan within a month. 209
Appearance
Sōji is a silver-white-haired youth who commonly presents himself as blind, wearing a black cloth over his eyes and carrying a cane. By the time he leaves Tanzaku Town, he has grown taller and broader, with a composed presence that contrasts with his age. 35
- Short silver-white hair, later tied back neatly. 35
- Black blindfold concealing the Six Eyes. 14
- Usually carries a blind cane to maintain his merchant persona. 23
- Has a red lotus-shaped sealing mark on his forehead by Chapter 35. 35
- Commonly wears dark clothing beneath a white haori. 35
- At thirteen, before his chakra-assimilation transformation, he is already nearly 1.8 meters tall. 87
- After surviving Kaguya-origin chakra assimilation, his hair grows to his waist, his stature becomes markedly taller and more mature, and his presence becomes cold and imposing. 99 100
- His red lotus Yin Seal becomes brighter and visibly flows with stored chakra after his transformation. 99 100
- Although he can now use the Six Eyes safely without a blindfold, he continues to wear it when concealment or his former public persona is useful. 83 119 146
- Wears a Divine Robe specially authorized by Mei to symbolize his ANBU command, bearing the Kaguya crest and modeled after the Fourth Hokage’s robe. 112
- Later wears Karin’s hand-embroidered blindfold, which filters low-level chakra fluctuations. 149
Personality
Sōji is calm, analytical, and unusually mature for his age. He approaches combat, medicine, business, and politics through observation and practical calculation, often using the Six Eyes to understand the mechanics behind a problem before acting. 13 38
His early life made him ruthless toward active threats, particularly those pursuing him or people under his protection. However, he consciously rejects indiscriminate slaughter, limiting himself to enemies, aggressors, and those he judges deserving of death. 37 41
Despite his detached manner, Sōji forms deep attachments. He protects Tsunade, Shizune, Hotaru, and Achun without demanding recognition, and he increasingly seeks strength not only for survival but to create stability for the people he cares about. 27 32 36 48
Sōji can be merciless toward pirates, violent rogue ninja, and opponents he considers too dangerous to leave alive, but he is capable of restraint when enemies may be rehabilitated or made useful. His treatment of the ANBU challenge, Ye Tong, and the Hōzuki brothers reflects a preference for turning valuable opponents into allies when possible. 66 104 120 136
He has become increasingly conscious of the responsibility attached to power. His desire for greater strength is rooted in fear of being unable to protect his companions during future wars, while his political conduct favors preparation, alliances, and long-term stability over impulsive revenge. 74 108 151
He studies local geography, politics, economies, and ordinary people’s lives during his travels, regarding this knowledge as preparation for governing. His concern for peace includes the daily security of workers, families, and children rather than only the balance between ninja villages. 38 39
His composure also permits dry humor and occasional teasing. After Shizune praised his appearance, he jokingly warned her not to fall in love with him because he was only twelve; he likewise compared Tsunade’s 150-million-ryō gambling loss to “four and a half Asumas.” 18 31
His later strategic outlook becomes harsher. Following the System upgrade, he consciously accepts the deaths necessary to preserve the original war’s course, prioritizing the mission and the strength needed to confront Kaguya and the wider Ōtsutsuki Clan over preventing every foreseeable casualty. This is a deliberate change in planning rather than abandonment of his separate alliance and reconstruction projects. 215
Abilities & Skills
Six Eyes
Sōji’s Six Eyes are a System-granted dōjutsu-like ability that perceives chakra, cursed energy, physical movement, meridian pathways, and the underlying structure of techniques. 2 14
- Provides omnidirectional, long-range perception and can see through obstructions. 3
- Predicts attacks by analyzing muscle movement, chakra flow, weapon trajectories, and shifts in balance. 2 9
- Allows him to study ninjutsu, anatomy, chakra control, and the mechanics of physical techniques with extreme precision. 13 14
- Lets him see clearly through his own Hidden Mist Technique. 48
- Cannot be fully deactivated; prolonged use causes sensory overload, though he has learned to reduce the burden through training. 3
- Before mastering Reverse Cursed Technique, operating the Six Eyes at full output could cause headaches, visual interference, and potentially permanent brain damage after roughly ten minutes. 71 74
- Reverse Cursed Technique now continuously repairs and optimizes his brain, allowing full-capacity Six Eyes use without the former neurological limitation. 83
- Can identify chakra nodes in large constructs, analyze the internal structure of cursed spirits, and process the weaknesses of extremely fast opponents in real time. 105 119 130
- Detects the brief transition between Kashimo’s electric-field movement and concentrated attack, allowing Sōji to exploit an otherwise extremely short opening. 163
- Precisely controls the layered compression of electrical cursed energy for Maximum Technique—Railgun. 188
Shikotsumyaku
As a Kaguya Clan survivor, Sōji can grow, shape, harden, and weaponize his own bones. His former bloodline disease was cured through controlled replacement of contaminated bones. 3 7
- Fires finger bones as high-speed projectiles, including the Ten-Finger Bullet Barrage. 2 3
- Forms bone blades, spikes, armor, and close-combat weapons from his body. 2 3
- Uses the Kaguya combat styles Dance of the Willow, Dance of the Camellia, Dance of the Larch, and Dance of the Clematis. 3
- Can deploy Dance of the Bracken Fern, erupting massive bone spikes across a radius of roughly 150 meters. 3 48
- Created Empty Bone Shockwave, a close- to mid-range technique using high-frequency bone vibrations. 3
- Can activate bone marrow to temporarily boost his physical ability; this previously worsened his bloodline disease. 3
- Uses Subcutaneous Bone Armor as a full-body automatic defense and can regenerate damaged armor faster than corrosive techniques can destroy it. 3 92
- Can precisely form compressed bone spears, bone needles, and weapons tailored for assassination, surgery, or high-output ranged attacks. 52 71 105
All-Killing Ash Bones
After assimilating Kaguya-origin chakra, Sōji awakened All-Killing Ash Bones, an advanced evolution of his Shikotsumyaku. 97 101
- Produces ash-gray bone projectiles and spikes imbued with an aura of annihilation. 101 131
- Causes targets struck by the technique to decay and collapse at the molecular level rather than merely sustaining ordinary physical damage. 101
- Its destructive aura alone was sufficient to intimidate the Grade 1 cursed spirit Desolate Skeleton into submission. 131
- Places an extreme burden on Sōji’s body even with Reverse Cursed Technique, making it a trump card rather than a routine combat method. 101
- He plans to use a senjutsu-supported, single decisive strike against Mahoraga before its adaptation can become effective; Mahoraga remains unsubdued in the latest account. 164 216
Wood Release
Sōji awakened instinctive Wood Release after Hashirama Senju’s life force, stored within the First’s necklace, saved him during Kaguya-origin chakra assimilation. 98 100 101
- Can create and control Wood Release without hand seals. 101
- Initially assesses his Wood Release as stronger than Yamato’s, though still far below Hashirama’s. 101
- Can potentially combine Wood Release with his chakra nature transformations and cursed energy. 101
- The Wood Release vines generated during his transformation formed a chakra-draining cocoon and overtook an entire ANBU base before withering after his rebirth. 98 99
- Hashirama’s inherited life energy continues growing within him after the initial transformation. 101
- Senjutsu chakra later enhances its performance far beyond his expectations, and he fully masters the related techniques recorded in Hashirama’s manual. 186
Cursed Energy and Jujutsu System
Sōji’s cursed energy cannot be cultivated through normal training. It increases when chakra users die by his hand, with stronger targets generally providing more energy. Reaching thresholds grants new abilities or reward draws. 14 15
- The System has granted him the Six Eyes, Black Flash, Ice Formation, the Inverted Spear of Heaven, and Cursed Spirit Manipulation. 15 37
- He reached Semi-Grade 1 after gaining 2,000 cursed-energy points from five Xuan Yuan Corps members. 33
- Unlocking the Gold Coin Shop allows him to exchange ryō for cursed tools, cursed objects, and cursed spirits. 33
- He has theorized that targets connected to major events may provide unusually high cursed-energy rewards, but this remains unconfirmed. 33
- He achieved Grade 1 cursed energy before purchasing Reverse Cursed Technique and later reached Special Grade after surpassing 100,000 cursed-energy points. 74 146
- At Special Grade, his cursed energy becomes markedly denser and forms a protective film over his body; his overall System rating rises to between peak Super-Kage and Six Paths level. 146
- The Special Grade System shop grants access to Special Grade cursed spirits, innate techniques, cursed tools, Domain construction, and cross-world Culling Game Invitation Letters. 147
- Sōji has declined to enter the Jujutsu world through the Culling Game Invitation Letter, judging the risk of facing Sukuna and leaving his own world unattended too great. 147
- His later panel records 1,011,500 cursed-energy points without a further rank designation. Crossing one million during the Kusagakure takeover grants the draws used to obtain Limitless and Unlimited Void. 214
- A subsequent upgrade explicitly presents a main mission with four sub-missions tied to pivotal original-story events, prompting him to restructure his plans. 215
Ice Formation
Ice Formation is Sōji’s innate cursed technique. Rather than ordinary chakra-based Ice Release, it manifests absolute low temperatures through cursed energy. 30
- Freezes matter, chakra flow, energy, and certain conceptual phenomena. 3 30
- Can create defensive ice constructs such as Ice Prism and a large ice lotus. 9 30
- Uses Frost Bind to disrupt opponents’ movement and footing. 9
- Uses Frostwind to freeze a wide area by expelling cursed-energy-infused cold from his breath. 30
- Can selectively exclude allies from his freezing range. 30
- Its highest-output use can nearly exhaust his cursed energy. 31 32
- Used a Binding Vow that disclosed Ice Formation’s nature in exchange for increased output during the annihilation of the Xuan Yuan Corps. 31
- Can create Frost Wall, Frost Aura, Melon, and Extreme Cold Storm for defensive barriers, environmental suppression, and wide-area incapacitation. 104 105 119
- Can suppress chakra-based heat techniques, including Ye Tong’s Scorch Release: Immovable Wisdom King, by freezing its heat and disrupting its chakra structure. 119
- Uses precision freezing to seal cursed-energy channels at Desolate Skeleton’s joints and reflective ice to deny Black Shadow access to darkness. 131 132
Black Flash
Black Flash combines physical force, chakra, and cursed energy within an extremely narrow timing window. 3
- Produces destructive force stated to be five times normal output when successfully synchronized. 3
- Requires Sōji to enter an overclocked Six Eyes state for reliable activation. 3
- Can be combined with specially prepared bone weapons, Chakra Enhanced Strength, and Added-Weight Rock to produce attacks exceeding the destructive power of a Tailed Beast Ball. 71
- Used alongside Creation Rebirth and multiple physical enhancements, it severely injured Orochimaru and forced his retreat. 72
Reverse Cursed Technique
Sōji purchased complete mastery of Reverse Cursed Technique from the Gold Coin Shop for 1.5 billion ryō. 83
- Reverses cursed energy into restorative energy capable of repairing catastrophic bodily and neurological damage. 83 97
- Continuously repairs the cerebral damage caused by full-output Six Eyes use, removing its former sensory-overload limitation. 83
- Regenerates damaged bone armor and sustains Sōji through otherwise lethal physical destruction. 92 97
- Could not initially outpace the destruction caused by Kaguya-origin chakra, requiring Hashirama’s life force to prevent Sōji’s death. 97 98
Cursed Spirit Manipulation
Sōji obtained Cursed Spirit Manipulation through a System draw after leaving Tsunade. 37
- Absorbs cursed spirits into spheres, then summons and commands them. 37
- Precise control of stronger spirits requires greater cursed-energy reserves. 37
- Uses Ugly Treasure as his first controlled cursed spirit and mobile storage companion. 37
- Absorbing cursed spirits grants Sōji their concentrated cursed energy, offering a more efficient and morally sustainable progression route than acquiring energy solely through killing chakra users. 126
- At Grade 1 and above, his output is sufficient to forcibly compress weaker cursed spirits into orbs before they can resist. 146
- His mastered spirits include Ugly Treasure, Rainbow Dragon, Black Shadow, Desolate Skeleton, Kuchisake-Onna, Worm Swarm, and Earthquake. 139 146
- His later summons include Jogo, who converses with him before returning to his palm. 216
- Views cursed spirits as a separate combat system requiring no hand seals and not countered by chakra-absorption abilities, supplementing his existing shinobi techniques. 127
Cursed Spirits
- Ugly Treasure — A timid, noncombatant Grade 3 storage spirit capable of shrinking and carrying weapons, supplies, and other items. 37
- Rainbow Dragon — A Kage-level white dragon-like Grade 1 spirit with flight, powerful physical strength, and destructive cursed-energy dragon breath. 130 132
- Desolate Skeleton — A thirty-meter Grade 1 skeletal spirit suited for sieges, direct combat, and defensive operations. 129 131
- Black Shadow — A stealth and assassination specialist that travels through shadows, becomes tangible only when attacking, and is vulnerable to strong light. 131 132
- Earthquake — A massive Grade 1 spirit that transmits cursed-energy fluctuations through the ground to disrupt balance and the vestibular system. 146
- Kuchisake-Onna and Worm Swarm — Listed among his mastered cursed spirits; he considers sending Worm Swarm underground during his match with Jiraiya. 146 180
- Jogo — A later controlled spirit who acts as a conversational companion as well as a summon. 216
Sōji also confronts Hanami, attempting persuasion before declaring that defeat will require it to serve him. Hanami refuses coexistence with humans, and Sōji answers its attack with Maximum Technique—Railgun; the supplied account does not establish the encounter’s final outcome. 188
Ten Shadows Technique
Sōji gained the Ten Shadows Technique as a Special Grade threshold draw. 147
- Initially possesses ten shadow-based shikigami nodes awaiting subjugation. 147
- Has the potential to eventually summon Mahoraga, whose adaptation can respond to all phenomena. 147
- Began preparations to complete the subjugation ritual for Piercing Ox before departing for the Land of Fire. 151
- Later subdues all nine shikigami other than Mahoraga. Named examples include Piercing Ox, Round Deer, Max Elephant, and Tiger Funeral. 164
- Round Deer’s continuous Reverse Cursed Technique makes its ritual especially troublesome, while Max Elephant nearly overwhelms the underground training ground’s drainage system. 164
- Defeats Tiger Funeral with a single Lightning Piercing Hand. 164
- Continues preparing to subdue Mahoraga after completing senjutsu training; its subjugation is still an outstanding objective. 164 207 216
Ratio Technique
Sōji gained the Ratio Technique as his second Special Grade threshold draw. 147
- Identifies an opponent’s structural weak point and permits strikes that bypass much of their ordinary defense. 147
- Its practical, precision-oriented nature complements the analytical ability of the Six Eyes. 147
Lightning Discharge
Sōji acquires Hajime Kashimo’s electrical cursed energy and associated techniques in full through the System. The acquisition provides the underlying principles and activation conditions, although integrating them into his own combat habits still requires practice. 164
- Converts cursed energy into electrical charge and controls its form, strength, and path without chakra nature transformation or hand seals. 164
- Includes Charge Path Transfer, Electric Field Perception, Lightning Serpent Tracking, lightning armor, and High-Frequency Charge Oscillation. 164
- Charge Path Transfer allows movement to points within his electric field, supplementing ordinary muscle-driven acceleration. 164
- High-Frequency Charge Oscillation is inherited from Kashimo’s method of breaking down Desolate Skeleton’s bone structure at the molecular level. 163 164
- Supplies the electrical energy for his hybrid Lightning Release Nintaijutsu before he develops lightning-nature chakra. 161 164
Lightning Release Nintaijutsu
Sōji studies Kumogakure’s secret scroll and adapts its operating framework to Lightning Discharge because he initially lacks Lightning Release chakra. 161 164
- Forms a powerful Lightning Garment/Lightning Armor that stimulates and reinforces his body. 164
- His combined Lightning Armor and Charge Path Transfer surpass the Fourth Raikage’s speed; even Wolf Demon’s fully unleashed Swift Release cannot keep pace in a straight-line sprint. 164
- Masters Lightning Piercing Hand in two weeks, concentrating charge density along his arm for an armor-piercing knife-hand thrust. 164
- Uses lightning-enhanced movement and attacks to overwhelm Jiraiya despite Sage Mode, prompting Jiraiya to concede. 180
- Combines its speed with Six Eyes prediction to evade a barrage of more than twenty Wind Release attacks while advancing through Kusagakure. 197
Maximum Technique
Sōji purchases Maximum Technique for 500 million ryō. Rather than a separate innate technique, it is a method of compressing an existing technique to its limit and releasing an additional concentrated burst. He regards it as applicable to both ninjutsu and jujutsu. 187
- Enhances a technique to its highest currently achievable output efficiency. 187
- Uses Lightning Discharge: Maximum Technique—Railgun, concentrating layered electrical cursed energy around a ten-ryō coin before release. 188
- Relies on Six Eyes precision to manage the progressively increasing cursed-energy density. 188
Limitless and Domain Techniques
Sōji obtains Limitless and Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void from the two draws awarded when his cursed energy crosses one million during the Kusagakure takeover. 214
- Limitless remains an ability he must practically master rather than a fully completed training achievement. 216
- Unlimited Void is listed on his System panel as his Domain Expansion; the supplied account does not show its deployment. 214
- Simple Domain is also listed among his acquired techniques, although its acquisition circumstances and use are not shown in the supplied account. 214
Medical Ninjutsu
Sōji learned medical theory, chakra control, and healing under Tsunade and Shizune. His Six Eyes give him unusually detailed perception of anatomy and chakra pathways. 12 26
- Uses the Mystical Palm Technique with enough precision to restore a damaged leaf’s structure and simulate vitality. 33
- Led the surgery to remove Explosive Insects from Karai’s chakra pathways, repaired damaged meridians, and completed the operation successfully. 26 27
- Can use a Chakra Scalpel with enough precision to remove parasites without detonating them. 26
- Has begun advanced training in Tsunade’s Yin Seal and Creation Rebirth, techniques that demand immense chakra control, long-term chakra storage, and significant bodily endurance. 34
- Can activate the Yin Seal and Creation Rebirth in battle, using their stored chakra and accelerated regeneration to temporarily sustain extreme physical output and Six Eyes use. 72
- Oversees Kirigakure’s medical department due to his medical expertise and Tsunade’s instruction. 92
- Teaches medical fundamentals to Karin, recognizing her exceptional Uzumaki affinity for life energy and healing. 59
- Guides Karin through treating his shoulder with Chakra Scalpel and Mystical Palm after the Three-Tails encounter, using his own injury as supervised practical instruction. 73
Chakra Enhanced Strength
Sōji learned Tsunade’s chakra-enhanced striking technique by analyzing her chakra compression and physical mechanics. 13 14
- Compresses chakra into a single body part and releases it at the instant of impact. 13
- Pulverized a boulder on his first attempt, surpassing Tsunade’s demonstration in raw destructive effect. 13 14
- Can maintain chakra reinforcement during training and movement. 18
- Can stack the technique with Bone Marrow Activation, weight manipulation, bone armor, and cursed energy to devastate Kage-class opponents. 70 72
- Teaches Karin its fundamentals through controlled water-striking exercises before allowing her to train against harder targets. 82
Elemental Ninjutsu
Sōji possesses Master-level Wind, Water, Earth, and Yang Release according to his System panel. He later develops Lightning Release chakra, which remains Beginner-level on his subsequent panel. 101 186 214
- Uses Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet, Water Formation Wall, and Water Flow Blade for offense, defense, and chakra-based counterplay. 70 78 91
- Uses Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall and Earth Flow Spears to block large-scale attacks and pressure opponents from below. 70
- Uses Wind Release techniques, including Wind Cutter, though conventional elemental attacks are ineffective against intangible cursed spirits such as Black Shadow. 131
- Uses Yang Release through medical ninjutsu, Creation Rebirth, chakra-enhanced strength, and his advanced physical restoration. 34 72 101
- Completes training to refine Lightning Release chakra as an additional resource distinct from Lightning Discharge’s cursed-energy electricity. 186 214
Earth-Release Weight Techniques
Sōji received the Light-Weight Rock Technique and Added-Weight Rock Technique through Tsunade’s negotiation with the Fourth Raikage. 25 32
- Can control his own weight, slow his descent, and achieve brief limited flight. 33
- Light-Weight Rock improves aerial mobility, scouting, pursuit, and retreat. 25
- Added-Weight Rock has the potential to increase the force of his bone-based attacks. 25
- Uses Light-Weight Rock alongside Bone Marrow Activation and Chakra Enhanced Strength to attain speed beyond normal human dynamic vision. 72 103
- Applies Added-Weight Rock to bone armor and weapons, increasing his arm’s weight more than twentyfold and prepared bone spears by fiftyfold or over a hundredfold for particular attacks. 70 71 78
Summoning and Natural Energy
Sōji signed Tsunade’s Shikkotsu Forest contract under his true name and has formed summoning bonds with slug clones of the Slug Sage. 35 40
- Can summon Little Slug, a palm-sized Slug Sage clone. 40
- Has summoned Yamada, a slug over ten meters long. 46
- Has exceptional natural affinity for Natural Energy; his body instinctively draws it in, creating both major senjutsu potential and a risk of losing control. 46
- Can use summoned slugs to supply Natural Energy, filter excessive Six Eyes information, and assist with emergency medical treatment. 69 72
- Later completes formal Shikkotsu Forest senjutsu training, explicitly confirming the achievement to Kakashi. 207
- Uses senjutsu chakra to greatly strengthen Wood Release during his subsequent training. 186
Sealing Techniques
Sōji possesses the incomplete Tsuchigumo Clan sealing scroll and studies sealing techniques alongside his other training. 50 83
- Can use the Yin Seal to store large chakra reserves for Creation Rebirth and other emergencies. 34 72
- Relies on Ao’s sealing expertise in developing Karin’s ability to control the Three-Tails’ chakra leakage. 101
- Has opened the ANBU training ground’s adjustable barrier system for organization-wide combat training. 127
- Incorporates sealing expertise into diplomatic planning through his proposed jointly supervised research institute at the former Land of Whirlpool. 209
