Natasha was very dissatisfied with Gwen's assessment of her.
So, she decided to "get back at" Gwen by staying the night.
Roy certainly had no reason to refuse.
Not to mention, he had been the one to bring it up.
As a man who was healthy both mentally and physically, he could not think of any reason to say no.
What followed was simple.
Natasha gave a nasal hum, rose to her feet, swayed her alluring, serpentine waist, and walked toward the upstairs bedroom in her stiletto heels, every movement brimming with charm.
Looks like another late night!
After sighing to himself, Roy got up after Natasha and wrapped an arm around her slender waist.
The next second, he decisively used Flying Thunder God.
In an instant, he and Natasha arrived in the master bedroom's bathroom.
Before long, the bathroom filled with the patter of running water and breathless sounds unsuitable for children.
The following afternoon.
Roy, who had not gone to sleep until the middle of the night, slowly opened his eyes.
The large, soft bed now held only him.
Just as before, Natasha had left as soon as dawn broke.
Recalling last night's fierce battle with Natasha, Roy smiled in satisfaction.
He had to admit, Natasha was truly the kind of woman men could never get enough of. She was exceptionally delightful.
Brush his teeth, wash his face, fix his hair!
Put on an expensive custom-tailored suit, wear a pair of non-prescription gold-rimmed glasses, and dress himself up like a refined scoundrel!
Perfect!
Handsome!
After admiring his outfit in the full-length mirror, Roy used Flying Thunder God to leave the villa, traveling from Manhattan to downtown Los Angeles.
Banner's matter had come to an end for the time being.
It was time to find Tony and check on the progress of the Physical Enhancement Drug and Spider Serum.
However, before heading to Tony's seaside mansion, he planned to find a restaurant and take care of lunch first.
Though he possessed a physique far beyond that of an ordinary person, he still had to eat.
Besides, last night's intense battle with Natasha had inevitably taken a toll on him.
After wandering around downtown for a while, Roy arrived at a well-reviewed Michelin restaurant and chose a window-side table with an unobstructed view of the sea.
After asking the waiter, he ordered several of the chef's recommendations for the day and a bottle of wine worth over ten thousand dollars.
Once the waiter left with the menu, he took his phone from System Space and searched online for news about Culver University.
Without any surprise, all the trending news that appeared under the keyword "Culver University" concerned yesterday's arrest operation.
In their scramble for ratings and clicks, reporters from major websites had pulled out all the stops.
In just one day, the identities of General Ross, Banner, and Betty had been uncovered.
Besides investigating the three of them, the reporters had not forgotten to investigate Roy as well.
Although he had worn ANBU's white Animal Mask and had not revealed his face.
Reporters soon discovered that he was the "secret bodyguard" who had fought alongside Tony several months ago.
After quickly scanning the articles, Roy browsed the comment section with interest.
"This masked guy has to be the military's secret weapon!"
"I heard the military started building a superhuman force a long time ago. This masked guy might be one of them."
"My brother is a researcher at Stark Industries. He told me Tony Stark launched a secret superhuman project to surpass his father Howard, trying to mass-produce superhumans."
"You mean mass-produce Captain America?"
"I graduated from Culver University too. I remember Dr. Banner and Dr. Betty were researching a new radiation treatment plan back then."
"What radiation treatment? They were researching superhumans back then. The news already said their research was military-funded. The military would never care about radiation treatment. It was obviously a cover story!"
"I think the experiment succeeded back then. Banner is a perfect example."
"Even if it succeeded, it's useless. Banner turns into the Hulk, and he's like a beast with no rationality at all. The military wants soldiers who obey orders, not uncontrollable monsters."
"I actually think Banner looks pretty cool after transforming. The color is just a little unlucky. If he could turn blue instead, I'd want to be like him too."
"Green really is unlucky. No man likes green!"
"Blue isn't much better. I think red would be best—red like blood. That would look really badass."
"Do you think Banner and Betty broke up because transformed Banner was too big?"
"I still prefer a normal human build. If I had to choose between Banner and the masked man, I'd pick the masked man."
"Speaking of the masked man, how exactly does he control sand?"
"Controlling sand is nothing. The blue energy spheres he fired were terrifying. An energy sphere the size of a fist could knock away Banner after he transformed into the Hulk, and one large energy sphere destroyed Iron Man Armor as big as the Hulk in a single hit."
"I heard he has dozens of superpowers. Teleportation and that energy cloak are both superpowers he awakened."
"No matter how many superpowers he has, it doesn't matter. I've seen his real face. He's ugly, which is why he wears a mask all day and does not dare show anyone his true face."
Ugly?
You're the ugly one!
Your whole family is ugly!
After grumbling to himself, Roy put away his phone and patiently waited for his lunch.
Before the waiter could bring over his lunch, a blonde woman in a white women's suit, with a curvy figure and a beautiful face, walked toward him.
When she reached him, the blonde woman spoke first. "Hello, Mr. Roy. I'm Christine Everhart, a news anchor for Los Angeles Fox 11."
Christine took out a business card and handed it to Roy.
After accepting the card and giving it a glance, Roy asked, "Before becoming a Fox 11 anchor, did you work at Vanity Fair?"
"Yes. How did you know, Mr. Roy?"
Christine quickly responded.
"I heard someone mention you."
Roy responded casually.
At his answer, Tony's name immediately flashed through Christine's mind.
"Would it be convenient for you to spare a few minutes for a brief interview?"
Christine said to Roy with a brilliant smile.
"Sure. Have a seat."
Roy pointed to the seat across from him.
"Thank you!"
After sitting down, Christine took a recorder from her handbag and placed it on the table. She quickly asked, "You purchased part of Stark's shares and became a member of Stark Industries' board of directors. May I ask what price you paid for them?"
"The purchase price involves trade secrets. No comment."
Roy replied flatly.
Christine was not surprised that he did not reveal the purchase price.
She had not expected him to disclose the exact price in the first place.
She had only asked to lay the groundwork for her next question.
Without hesitation, Christine continued, "Then let me ask something else. According to our investigation, before becoming a director of Stark Industries, you had never held an important position in any company. The only company registered under your name is a private Detective Agency."
"Did Stark transfer part of his shares to you as a way of thanking you, rather than as a purely commercial transaction?"
Roy shook his head and replied flatly, "Stop beating around the bush. What exactly do you want to ask?"
"I suspect you're Stark's former secret bodyguard!"
Christine said with a serious expression.
