Xie Qing leads Zhengqing Gang martial artists in pursuit of the silver-white beast on Fanghua Mountain. After Yu Chen kills the beast and saves the group, Xie Qing follows Yu Chen's instructions to deliver the corpse to the Wang Household and claim public credit for the victory. 13 19
Yu Chen allows the gang to retain the Wang Household's commercial discount while claiming the one-hundred-tael reward for himself. Xie Qing later adds another hundred taels from the gang's funds as thanks. 19 21
