The festival atmosphere was incredibly lively.

People sang, danced, cheered, and celebrated. Whether they were humans or Pokémon that had come over curiously after hearing the commotion, everyone wore joyful expressions.

Then, the arrival of a mysterious guest pushed the festival atmosphere to its peak.

A tall blonde woman in a long black coat slowly stepped onto the festival stage.

The woman looked mature and dignified. A faint smile had appeared on her icy, seemingly cold face.

At the sight of her arrival, the crowd immediately erupted into an uproar.

Listening to those cries, Cynthia looked down at the crowd and spoke in a gentle, pleasant voice.

"Everyone, please enjoy yourselves!"

Within the crowd, J, dressed in red high heels and sporting short silver hair, boredly glanced at the figure on the stage.

A week ago, J had accepted a commission from a client to capture a Togepi.

After tracking it for an entire week, she had finally found the target in Eterna City and successfully captured it.

What surprised J, however, was that Eterna City's festival had drawn so many Trainers here all at once.

And those Trainers had brought along many Pokémon rarely seen in the wild.

J greedily narrowed her eyes as her gaze slowly swept across those Pokémon.

A Charmander from distant Kanto, a Larvitar from Johto, a Wynaut from Hoenn, and a Munchlax eating rabbit dumplings...
