Background and History

Gwen was Li Stark's classmate and early invention partner at Midtown High School. Before Helen Cho intervened, the pair had secretly been building a time-travel teleportation device, despite the project’s dangerous welding and energy risks 2. Their partnership had begun even earlier through robotics club, where Gwen injured her arm stopping an out-of-control mechanical arm from harming other students 8.
