"Hey! Dragon Country boy!" Tony shouted into Chen Tian's ear through a microphone.
Chen Tian was jolted out of his thoughts. "Damn it, Tony, what are you doing?"
"Hahaha, I saw you spacing out over here." Tony casually tossed aside the microphone, and Happy hurriedly caught it.
"What? You don't like my party?" Tony plopped down onto the couch.
Chen Tian shook his head. "No, the party's lively, but you know, Dragon Country people aren't really used to such..." He pointed toward the pool, where beautiful models wore nothing but tiny scraps of fabric. "...enthusiastic parties."
"Hahahahaha." Tony slapped Chen Tian on the shoulder and bent over laughing. "Boy, you're not still Xiao Chunan, are you?"
Chen Tian curled his lip. "How could that be?" Even if he died, Chen Tian would never admit it. This was a matter of male dignity.
Tony narrowed his eyes, a sly curve rising at the corner of his mouth, like a fox that had stolen a tuna. "Oh, my dear Chinese boy," he drawled deliberately, lightly tapping Chen Tian's shoulder with his fingers. "You know, your ears are so red they could serve as warning lights for my new armor."
Chen Tian reflexively covered his ears, and the gesture made Tony laugh even more wildly. "JARVIS!" Tony suddenly shouted at the ceiling. "Initiate the 'Chick Rescue Plan' immediately!"
"Sir, may I remind you that the last time you used that plan to get Colonel Rhodes drunk, he crashed three of your sports cars." JARVIS's voice came from all directions.
"This time is different!" Tony jumped up and threw an arm around Chen Tian's neck. "This time, we have a kid who needs to 'grow up' even more!" He leaned close to Chen Tian's ear and whispered in an exaggeratedly breathy voice, "Don't worry, I'll arrange a gentle young lady for you... or a young man? Whatever~"
Chen Tian felt like his face was about to catch fire. "Tony! I really don't need—"
Tony released Chen Tian with a wicked grin, circled him once, then suddenly snapped his fingers. "Okay, Dragon Country boy, you have two choices—"
He held up two fingers and waved them with a serious expression. "A, you go pick someone by the pool yourself. I guarantee they won't refuse a guest of Stark Industries."
Tony deliberately paused, the corner of his mouth curling teasingly. "B, I—the great Tony Stark—personally arrange one 'mentor' for you, or several 'mentors,' guaranteed to give you an unforgettable night."
Chen Tian's mouth twitched. "Can I pick C? Like going home and sleeping right now?"
"Ha! Naive!" Tony spread his hands dramatically. "This is a Stark party. You think you can leave without making some 'beautiful memories'?"
He hooked an arm around Chen Tian's shoulder and lowered his voice mysteriously. "Listen, the December cover girls of Maxim are a pair of twins—blonde, blue-eyed, legs long enough to serve as fire escapes for the Empire State Building..."
Tony pulled out his phone and swiped rapidly. A magazine cover immediately appeared on the screen—two nearly identical sexy women shooting sultry looks at the camera.
"Well?" Tony raised an eyebrow. "They happen to be here tonight too, and..." He deliberately dragged out the words. "They're especially interested in Dragon Country culture~"
Chen Tian's ears instantly turned crimson. He shoved Tony's phone away. "That's enough!"
Tony burst out laughing and patted his back. "Don't be shy, boy! Life is short, enjoy it while you can!" He jerked his chin toward the pool. "Look, they're looking this way..."
Chen Tian subconsciously followed Tony's gaze. Sure enough, the twins were holding champagne glasses and winking at him.
Tony watched Chen Tian's stiff reaction with satisfaction, then leaned to his ear and spoke so only the two of them could hear. "Relax, I'll have Happy prepare some 'assistive tools' for you—like a JARVIS-customized 'social translator'? It'll make you sound like a seasoned Casanova when you whisper sweet nothings in English!"
Chen Tian: "..."
Right then, he just wanted to find a crack in the ground and crawl into it.
Seeing Chen Tian at a complete loss, Tony's smile deepened. He snapped his fingers and shouted loudly toward the pool, "Ladies! Looks like we need to help this shy Dragon Country boy 'warm up'!"
As soon as he spoke, the music by the pool abruptly changed to a more energetic beat. More than a dozen bikini-clad models immediately set down their drinks and swarmed toward Chen Tian like mermaids who had spotted prey. Their waists swayed, their long golden hair glittered under the lights, and droplets on their bodies reflected hazy, alluring colors.
"Hey! Dragon Country boy!" A red-haired girl was the first to press herself against him. She carried a faint coconut scent. "I heard you're from the East?" Her slender fingers lightly traced across Chen Tian's shoulder. "I've been learning Dragon Country language lately..."
Before Chen Tian could answer, another blonde girl squeezed in at his other side. "Don't listen to her. She only knows 'hello' and 'thank you.'"
She deliberately spoke in English with a French accent. "I'm the one who's genuinely interested in Dragon Country culture..."
Chen Tian felt like Tang Sanzang had fallen into the Spider Cave, surrounded on all sides by a group of demons. His back pressed tightly against the couch, leaving him nowhere to retreat. Tony was laughing so hard beside him that he was practically folding over, and he even took out his phone to start recording.
"JARVIS!" Tony shouted. "Save this scene in my 'Precious Memories' folder!"
"Already saved, Sir." JARVIS's voice promptly replied.
Just then, a curvy Asian girl squeezed to the front. She wore a shimmering silver bikini and held two strangely colored cocktails.
"Come on, Dragon Country boy." She stuffed one of the glasses into Chen Tian's hand. "Try Tony's special 'Eastern Dragon Breath.' I guarantee it'll make you..." She leaned close to his ear, her breath soft and fragrant. "...soar like a dragon and leap like a tiger~"
Chen Tian looked at the purple-bubbling liquid in the glass and instinctively sensed danger. But before he could refuse, the girls around him had already begun cheering.
"Drink! Drink! Drink!"
At some point, Tony had climbed onto the coffee table and raised both arms like a rock star. "Tonight's theme is—get the Dragon Country boy drunk! Whoever gets our honored guest to drink the first glass gets a sports car from me!"
The girls' screams nearly lifted off the roof. Chen Tian looked around in despair and discovered that even Pepper was standing in the distance with an amused expression. Yinsen had long since been squeezed into a corner and was looking at him sympathetically.
"Tony..." Chen Tian tried to make one last struggle. "You know I'm allergic to alcohol..."
"Wait... what are you doing... mmph—"
Before Chen Tian could finish speaking, Tony swiftly poured the entire glass into his mouth.
"Cough, cough, cough!" Chen Tian coughed violently, his throat feeling like it was on fire. "Tony Stark! I'm going to kill you!"
"Hahahahaha, drink up! Get wild!" Tony announced with a laugh, completely unconcerned by Chen Tian's murderous glare.
When Chen Tian opened his eyes again, his hangover gave him a splitting headache. He instinctively tried to raise a hand to block the sunlight, only to discover that his right arm was numb beneath something soft and heavy.
"Ugh..." He groaned painfully and stiffly turned his neck—
The sight before him instantly woke him up.
A snow-white body was curled in the crook of his arm, golden hair scattered over his chest. Even worse, another nearly identical body was wrapped around his left leg like an octopus. At the foot of the bed, the Asian girl slept with her back to him, the smooth curve of her bare back gleaming like pearl in the morning light.
Chen Tian discovered in horror that he was completely naked, with only a wrinkled bedsheet barely covering his lower body.
The three girls were in the same state. Scattered clothing littered the room like evidence at a crime scene—a silver bikini hung from the lamp, stockings lay over the headboard, and a high heel was comically stuck in an ice bucket for champagne.
"Holy... shit..." He sucked in a breath and cautiously tried to pull himself free, only to wake the blonde woman in his arms.
"Morning~" The girl sleepily ran a fingertip over his abs, her voice hoarse with the aftermath of passion. "Your Russian... was really sexy..."
Chen Tian was still wondering when he had learned Russian when the door was suddenly kicked open.
Tony swaggered in with his phone raised, the camera shoved straight into Chen Tian's face. "Guys in the livestream, take a good look! This is the legendary 'Dragon Country kung fu'—taking on three heroes in one night!"
"Tony, I'll fuck your grandfather!" Chen Tian grabbed an ashtray and hurled it at him. In his panic, he nearly flipped away the sheet covering him. The three girls woke up and let out a series of shrieks.
"Relax~" Tony nimbly dodged the attack and pointed a donut at the ceiling. "JARVIS can testify that you merely engaged in... uh... cultural exchange." He grinned wickedly and pulled up a holographic projection. "For example, this part—"
In the footage, a naked Chen Tian stood on the dining table, loudly reciting "MKS" in mangled Russian while the three equally naked girls smeared cream all over him.
"Fuck! Turn it off!" Chen Tian lunged at Tony with a flushed face, only to trip over the sheet and fall miserably among the girls.
Tony took the chance to snap a close-up. "Perfect! This one will be called 'Passionate MKSism in the Morning Light'!"
Chen Tian fell to his knees in despair, finally understanding what it meant to suffer a social death.
Tony had already slipped to the doorway and turned back to blow him a kiss. "Don't worry, Dragon Country boy. I ordered you some kidney-nourishing soup—made with, um... aluminum-rim stew? That's how you say it, right?"
After Tony left, the room finally returned to silence. The three girls giggled as they got dressed, not forgetting to blow Chen Tian kisses before leaving.
"Let's 'study Chinese' together again next time~" the blonde twins said in unison, deliberately blinking at him.
The Asian girl stuffed a note into Chen Tian's pants pocket. "This is my private number... you're welcome to come for 'extra lessons' anytime." She licked her lips meaningfully.
As the door clicked shut, Chen Tian finally let out a long breath. He rubbed his temples, then suddenly remembered something important—today was time to summon again.
"Almost forgot!" He hurriedly got up and rushed into the bathroom. The warm water washed away the smell of alcohol from his body. Bathing and changing clothes—this was the reverence for ritual of a man from Dragon Country.
(It definitely wasn't because his luck had been terrible before! Though ever since learning he could summon, he had already summoned 'nothing' three times.)
Chen Tian deliberately changed into white clothes and sat cross-legged on the balcony of the room.
He closed his eyes and continuously prayed to the countless gods and Buddhas in his mind. "Yuanshi Tianzun of the Jade Purity, Lingbao Tianzun of the Supreme Purity, Daode Tianzun of the Grand Purity, please bless me and let me summon a new character this time!~"
As Chen Tian continued praying, his entire body suddenly shuddered. Feeling as if the gods and Buddhas had blessed him, he abruptly opened his eyes and shouted, "Summon!"
The scenery around Chen Tian shifted again as countless rivers of stars appeared and revolved around him.
Countless game scenes and manga panels appeared within the starry river, then abruptly stopped.
"Hm? Hm! Did I finally get something?!" Chen Tian cried out as he stared at the image.
The image in the starry river showed a vast ocean, with a large ship sailing across it. At its bow was an enormous cartoon lion-head figurehead.
"One Piece? The Thousand Sunny?" Chen Tian carefully watched the ship in the image. The sea within it suddenly churned, and a Japanese sword flew out of the starry river and landed in Chen Tian's arms.
Chen Tian felt his hand sink as an ancient-looking katana appeared out of thin air in his palm. A gentle consciousness traveled through the hilt, unfolding a piece of information in his mind:
[First Kitetsu: Supreme Grade Sword, one of the Twelve] [The sword of Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro of the Five Elders from the manga "One Piece".]
Chen Tian stared at First Kitetsu with sparkling eyes. "Oh my, a Supreme Grade Sword from One Piece. That's wonderful."
But before he could get excited, Chen Tian sighed again. "Sigh, what use is having a sword? I don't know how to wield one."
As soon as he said that, Kitetsu vibrated, and a warm current flowed through Chen Tian's entire body.
"What... is this?" The insights from Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro's sword training and his years of experience instantly flowed throughout Chen Tian's body.
While Chen Tian sat with his eyes tightly shut, body and mind immersed in Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro's swordsmanship inheritance, Tony pushed open the door again.
Seeing Chen Tian sitting cross-legged on the balcony, he teased, "Chinese boy, don't tell me you got depression because of a few jokes from me? That would make Tony feel guilty."
Chen Tian did not respond. Tony raised an eyebrow, tiptoed over to Chen Tian's side, and waved a hand in front of his eyes. He found that Chen Tian did not even flutter his eyelashes.
"JARVIS, scan him." Tony lowered his voice. "Did last night's 'Eastern Dragon Breath' fry this kid's brain?"
"Sir, Mr. Chen's vital signs are extremely stable." JARVIS automatically lowered his voice to silent mode. "However, his brainwave activity is abnormally active, similar to a state of deep meditation."
Tony curled his lip, and his gaze fell upon First Kitetsu. Just as he wanted to reach out and touch the blade, it suddenly gave off a soft hum and trembled, scaring him into quickly pulling his hand back.
"Damn it!" Tony's eyes widened. "This thing is conscious?"
At that moment, Chen Tian suddenly drew in a deep breath and sharply opened his eyes. Tony unexpectedly met a pair of eyes as sharp as blades and nearly dropped onto the floor.
"Holy shit!" Tony hopped back half a step. "You kid..."
Chen Tian slowly stood, then leaped onto the balcony railing. His eyes locked onto the distant sea, one hand gripping First Kitetsu's scabbard and the other gripping its hilt.
He took a deep breath, then violently drew the sword.
Tony's mouth immediately opened wide enough to fit a donut.
Before his eyes, a broad silver sword-energy slash flew from Chen Tian's swinging katana.
The slash tore through the sky and split the distant sea in two, raising waves dozens of meters high.
The seawater seemed to have been ripped apart by an invisible hand, revealing a bottomless trench that lasted for three full seconds before crashing shut.
"My... god..."
"JARVIS!" Tony's voice cracked. "What the hell was that?!"
"Sir, according to the energy scan," JARVIS paused unusually. "The energy Mr. Chen just released was equivalent to a medium-sized Jericho missile."
Tony's expression became even more vacant.
They had clearly escaped from the cave together. They had agreed to be ordinary people together, yet Chen Tian had become superhuman? Then didn't that make Tony's efforts to shield him and Yinsen from gunfire in the cave seem completely unnecessary?
Tony unconsciously rubbed his nose, feeling as though it had become redder and bigger again.
