Background

Qing Yi originated as the Twelfth-Grade Creation Green Lotus, a portion of the divided Twenty-Four-Grade Creation Green Lotus. Qing Xuan concealed the Lotus Pond from outside observation while her lotus platform, roots, and leaves dissolved into an innate Dao body over several centuries. She voluntarily separated half of her origin for Qing Xuan, enabling him to refine the remaining Twelve-Petal Creation Azure Lotus into his World Dao. 13 14

After her transformation, Qing Xuan gave her the name Qing Yi, creating a karmic connection between them. She accepted it immediately, beginning an existence distinct from the Creation Green Lotus from which she emerged. 13

Her Creation Dao developed through prolonged Dao discussions with Qing Xuan and Hongjun. During their twelve Epoch Cycles of cultivation, she demonstrated that life could persist through the destruction and rebirth of a world, helping Qing Xuan complete the circulation of his World Dao. 16

Qing Yi later restored an eastern Ancestral Vein alongside Qing Xuan and received the Eastern Green Lotus Treasure-Colored Banner, a Supreme Innate Spirit Treasure born from a lotus leaf of the Chaos Green Lotus. The restoration brought both cultivators to Taiyi perfection and led to their simultaneous Great Luo breakthrough. 19 20

Appearance

Qing Yi possesses a naturally formed innate Dao body whose perfection reflects her Creation Origin rather than cultivation or adornment. Her presence causes surrounding spiritual energy, plants, and natural Dao rhythms to respond to her. 13

  • Wears a simple green or azure dress naturally formed during her transformation. 13
  • Bears a lotus emblem associated with her Creation Green Lotus origin. 13
  • Has a pure, cool, and harmonious bearing, often described as inseparable from the surrounding landscape and spiritual energy. 13
  • Her appearance is considered the natural manifestation of a body perfectly suited to her own Dao. 13

Personality

Qing Yi is pure, direct, and largely free of worldly concerns. Having been born as an Innate Divine Being rather than raised in society, she initially treats her closeness with Qing Xuan as entirely natural, without attaching human conventions to gestures such as sharing food or using his sleeve to wipe fruit juice. 17 40

She places complete trust in Qing Xuan’s judgment, supporting him in dangerous encounters without hesitation. When he fled from Yinglong after hearing “Fellow Daoist, Please Stay,” she immediately strengthened his escape rather than questioning him until they were safe. 22 24

Although usually calm and restrained, Qing Yi reacts fiercely to threats against Qing Xuan. When the remnant Dragon Race Great Luo sought to seize Qing Xuan’s origin and reduce her to a servant, she responded with unusually visible anger and repeatedly destroyed the dragon’s manifested body. 29 30

Her compassion is expressed through action. She prioritizes restoring damaged spiritual veins over claiming treasures, nurtures life even in barren places, and uses her Creation Dao to preserve the possibility of renewal after catastrophe. 19 39 42

Abilities & Skills

Creation Great Dao

Qing Yi cultivates the Creation Great Dao, which governs generation, renewal, transformation, and the withdrawal of potential change.

  • Creates and restores life, spiritual roots, and damaged earth or water veins. 19 39
  • Understands creation as both birth and rebirth after destruction. 20
  • Can stop ongoing transformation by removing an object’s possibility of further change, as shown against Luohou’s Black Lotus demonic seal. 37
  • Reshapes hostile forces at their source, including transforming Godslayer Spear intent and Karmic Fire Red Lotus flames into azure lotuses. 26 46
  • Sustains life imprints through Qing Xuan’s recurring world-destruction and rebirth cycle. 16

Great Luo Dao Fruit

After affirming that the Creation Green Lotus was her origin but not her identity, Qing Yi condensed her own Great Luo Dao Fruit within the River of Time. 20

  • Her Dao remains independent from Qing Xuan’s World Dao while naturally complementing it. 20
  • Can confront manifestations across Space-Time as a Great Luo cultivator. 29
  • Uses her Dao to support Qing Xuan’s world when facing attacks spanning past, present, future, and alternate possibilities. 29 30

Formation, Water, and Spatial Support

Qing Yi uses her treasures and Creation Dao to support large-scale movement, concealment, and formation-breaking.

  • Absorbed the Innate Grand Formation surrounding the Lotus Pond into herself after her transformation. 14
  • Concealed Qing Xuan’s aura while he refined the Twelve-Petal Creation Azure Lotus. 14
  • Used the Twenty-Four Sea-Calming Divine Pearls to stabilize the Blood Sea and expose an Innate Grand Formation. 45
  • Combined the pearls with Qing Xuan’s Hongmeng Measuring Heaven Ruler to navigate the folded spatial formation concealing the Three Immortal Islands. 42 43
