Kushina recruited a new Police Force division while Uchiha factions and Konoha’s leaders maneuvered over the Mangekyō Sharingan and her growing ties to the Uchiha. As Tieyue moved to kill Tongyue, Chuan arranged a substitute, and Kushina arrived to take over the Police Force.

• Kushina recruited thirty-six civilian ninja for the Police Force Seventh Battalion, while Uchiha Tieyue planned to kill Uchiha Tongyue, Uchiha Chuan, and Fugaku Uchiha to awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi restricted Kushina’s movements and contacts, but Minato sought Uchiha Chuan’s help, and Chuan gave him a scroll and the Loudspeaker Technique to support Kushina’s push for freedom.
• Danzo revealed the Mangekyō’s blindness risk to Uchiha Shanhuo, who told the Hardliners and prompted many to abandon Tieyue and return to the Uchiha Clan.
• Uchiha Chuan and Fugaku warned Uchiha Tongyue of Tieyue’s plan, and Chuan created a flesh clone from Tongyue’s blood and a pig so it could take Tongyue’s place.
• Danzo recruited Shanhuo into Root and asked Orochimaru to resume Hashirama Cell research, while Orochimaru concealed his dealings with Danzo from Hiruzen Sarutobi.

Kushina challenged the Third Hokage and declared her candidacy, while Uchiha Chuan forced concessions and led the Uchiha toward greater independence. The arc ended with Uchiha Naruto Chronicle captivating audiences and its story shaping the new Team Seven.

• Hiashi removed Hyuga Nao as captain after he refused the Uchiha uniform, then appointed Hizashi and Rifu to lead the first two divisions as Kushina took command of the Sixth.
• Kushina publicly defied the Third Hokage, declared her candidacy for Fourth Hokage, and gained Uchiha Chuan’s support as he maneuvered the Hokage into restoring her freedoms.

Uchiha Naruto Chronicle follows Team 7 through its mission in the Land of Waves, where Naruto awakens his Sharingan and Zabuza and Haku survive. After the film’s success, Uchiha Chuan expands the clan’s business and challenges Konoha’s leadership, while Nagato comes to seek his help and reveals his Rinnegan.

• Naruto resolved to win Sakura’s affection from Sasuke, but Sakura insulted Naruto for being an orphan, awakening his scarlet One-Tomoe Sharingan.
• Kushina led Team 7 through training and a mission to escort Tazuna, stopping the Kirigakure attackers and confronting Zabuza in the Land of Waves.
• Naruto and Sasuke fought Haku inside his Crystal Ice Mirrors, and Naruto’s Sharingan advanced as Sasuke appeared to die from Haku’s attack.
• Kushina restrained Naruto’s Nine-Tails chakra and healed Sasuke, while Naruto urged Zabuza to stop treating Haku as a tool, and Zabuza then killed Gato and left with Haku.

• Jiraiya and the Third Hokage found Madara Uchiha’s grave empty, while the Kage gathered for a summit and Hiruzen agreed to use the Uchiha against Kirigakure.
• The Kage plotted to kill Uchiha Chuan, and Hiruzen sent the Uchiha to the Kirigakure front as war rumors turned the village against them.
• Uchiha Chuan replaced the clan members with Flesh Clones and moved the real Uchiha out of Konoha, while Obito joined him after Chuan promised to save Rin Nohara.
• Chuan offered Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan a way to strengthen the Land of Rain by spreading the Infection Technique and lending his eye power, and Yahiko agreed to adopt the Uchiha surname.
• The Four Kage attacked the Uchiha in Konoha while Hiruzen withheld support, and Kushina and Minato defected after Chuan revealed that the clan had already relocated.
• The Kage destroyed the Uchiha Clan Territory and reported Chuan dead, while Madara believed the clan and Obito had been wiped out.
