"Phew. Whitebeard lived up to his name. There was still a gap between us."
After Werther stood up, a sharp pain pulsed through his organs. He paid it little mind, though, because Tuski had already flown over to him.
A mass of transparent fur sprouted from Tuski's hands, and he began using Holy Healing Thread on Werther.

He then withdrew Intent Blood and slipped it into his belt.
The Whitebeard Pirates stared at the recovered Werther in shock. He had taken a full-force punch from Pops and stayed standing. From the look of him, he could still fight.
But Werther had no intention of fighting Whitebeard any longer. He knew this place would soon become a sea of fire. It was time to leave.
He and Tuski headed toward the plaza. With no marines stopping them, they soon made it back.

Pacifistas stood behind them, and towering metal walls blocked the way ahead. The Whitebeard Pirates began to despair. They had fallen into the marines' trap.
But the Harbor had not been sealed completely.
The Whitebeard Pirates had only one way out: the gap where Oars lay atop a metal wall, preventing it from rising.
That was no coincidence. Werther had deliberately left the gap for them. They could not die here yet; it would interfere with his plans.
The marines naturally would not pass up such a golden opportunity. Once
