After walking through the Cave for a while, Werther sensed another vast swarm of Frost Scorpions surging toward them.
This time, there was no need to run. Werther barely paid the Frost Scorpions any mind.
Before long, that familiar rustling came from deeper in the Cave. Werther knew the creatures that had nearly killed him were coming.
"They're here. You two, stand back."
As Werther spoke, a vast swarm of Frost Scorpions appeared before them.
"Electromagnetic Barrier: Thunder Wall!"
A wall of lightning formed in front of Werther, then shot toward the Frost Scorpions.

Before the Frost Scorpions even knew what had happened, Werther had reduced them to charred husks.
The others had seen this before, so they were not surprised.
Once the Frost Scorpions were dealt with, the group set off again, treading over their corpses.
The Cave was not very long, yet Werther encountered seven or eight scattered swarms of Frost Scorpions along the way.
He disposed of them all with ease. Nothing unexpected happened.
It was not that the Frost Scorpions were weak. Unable to get close, they could not use their abilities at all and could only be slaughtered by Werther.
But if they had managed to reach him, even Anita's ability might not have saved him.
Before long, Werther reached the end of the Cave. This time, a winding stone staircase led upward. It had to be the entrance to the next floor.
"Are you coming up with us, Ham?"
