In Jack's perception, Werther had already appeared right in front of him.

The two Hook Scythes in Jack's hands were vicious weapons. Even that glancing hit carved a chunk of flesh from Werther's chest.

Werther didn't even look at the wound. In this form, his own recovery was formidable.

The wound healed completely in just a few seconds, but healing didn't come from nowhere. It consumed a great deal of stamina, along with some Life Force from the Black Ring.

Werther narrowed his eyes. He realized that the stamina spent healing would shorten the time he could maintain this state.

After spinning at high speed for a while, Jack stopped. His footing turned unsteady, and he staggered several steps sideways.

Werther couldn't help chuckling. It seemed Jack had made himself dizzy.

But Jack quickly recovered and took a fighting stance.

"Lord Jack's losing ground."

One of Jack's subordinates blurted it out, then hurriedly shut his mouth
