Werther sat cross-legged on Grace's roof and took a deep breath.
Feeling that his injuries had finally healed completely, Werther smiled.
He had lived on the Island for nearly a month. Apart from two Sea Kings that had come looking for trouble, nothing major had happened.
As for Big Mom's subordinates and son, there had been no witnesses. Once Werther killed Charlotte Carl, the matter had more or less ended there. Big Mom was one of the Four Emperors, but she was no god. With no evidence to go on, she had no way to investigate.
"It's time to leave. I should say goodbye to Grace and her daughter.
"Anita really is willful, though. I can't believe she put a bounty like that on Blackbeard."
Four Newspapers lay beside Werther.

At the sight of the second Newspaper, Werther gave a wry smile.
That last line was probably Anita's own wording. Otherwise, the paper was unlikely to have used something so melodramatic as its headline.
Werther tucked the Newspaper into his Pocket Watch. The next time he saw Anita, he would have to tease the little girl about it.
The third Newspaper's headline was more intriguing.
