Anita carefully set the Den Den Mushi beside her bed. She had always tended it with the utmost care, afraid that anything might happen to it.
Rising from the soft bed, Anita's chest heaved.
She kicked a cushion across the room. Her emerald eyes had turned fiery red, as though she could burn anything in her sight to ashes with a look.
"The Antonio Family. You've crossed the line. You dared to threaten him? It looks like I'll have to deal with you properly."
More than a month after taking her father's place, Anita was no longer as innocent as she had once been. She now held full control over her Family.
Some of the Dragon People families in Mary Geoise were even showing signs of aligning themselves with her.
A fierce struggle for power could make a person grow up quickly. Werther had not expected that.

Anita's voice was cold. Number Three, who appeared in the room out of thin air, heard it too.
"An, what's made you so angry? Calm down."
"How can I calm down? They threatened Werther. They've crossed the line. He tried his best to hide it during our call, but he doesn't know I'm not that naive child anymore.
"Maybe Werther still thinks of me as that little troublemaker. It's a warm feeling."
Speaking of Werther eased some of Anita's anger, and she began to calm down.
"Put that plan into motion. Do those people in the Antonio Family really think they can push me around?"
Number Three nodded. She rarely spoke unless she had to, though she was curious what the Thunder Swordsman looked like.
"And the Family of that fat pig we killed earlier has apologized to me. Tell Number Four to come back. We can't have him standing outside
