Werther was dressed again. A strange smell still lingered in the restaurant, and broken plates and bowls littered the floor, but both of them had put their clothes back on.

Kashi Nai smoothed her tousled hair. A faint blush remained on her cheeks, but her eyes were perfectly clear, without a trace of distraction.

"Part of the reason I came was simply to see whether the reckless kid I once knew had really grown strong enough to challenge Kaido.

"The other reason is that someone asked me to pass along a message."

"What message?"

Looking at Kashi Nai, Werther remembered their first meeting, back when he was still an assassin.

He had been sent to kill a wealthy merchant. In those days, Werther's style was to leave no survivors.

Covered in blood, he had encountered Kashi Nai. Just as he was about to kill her, she had stripped off all her clothes.

Werther still remembered what she had said.

"I've never slept with a man. I'm clean. I'll do anything you want. Just don't kill me."
