A tremendous amount of Lightning clung to Intent Blood's surface, giving it terrifying cutting power.
After just one exchange, a notch appeared in Lafitte's Cane Sword. If he had not coated it in Armament Haki in time, it might already have been cut in two.
That was not even the worst of it. With their weapons locked, Werther held a single sword in both hands. That made his slash more than twice as powerful.
Gripping the sword with both hands, Werther bore down hard. Sparks flew from the two weapons under the immense pressure.
That manic smile returned to Werther's face. He could clearly tell Lafitte was not as strong as he was.
Werther had once clashed head-on with Kaido. Though he was far weaker than Kaido, he completely overpowered Lafitte.
Lafitte's face turned dark purple, veins bulging across it until he looked like a vicious ghost.
