Judging by the voice, the intruder was a woman. She wore a black bodysuit that showed off her curves. Werther figured she was probably beautiful—or, at the very least, an Assassin from behind.
He could not see her face. She wore a metal mask, and her long crimson hair was strikingly unusual.
"Who are you? You have ten seconds to explain. If you can't tell me why you're here, don't blame me for showing no mercy."
Intent Blood, newly advanced, was hungry for battle. As Werther moved, his sword rang out.
Werther's aura merged with Intent Blood's. A terrifying pressure spread across King's Plateau, startling every bird into frantic flight.
The Donquixote Family officers on King's Plateau were shocked.
"What's going on? That aura..."
"That's Lord Werther's aura."
"Quick! Werther may have run into an enemy. He wouldn't release that kind of pressure for no reason."
Lao G, Diamante, Trebol, and several others had been playing cards in the Villa. They threw down their hands and ran toward Werther's Bedroom.
It was still early morning, and none of the Donquixote Family officers had left King's Plateau. Every one of them rushed toward Werther's Bedroom.
Doffy was among them. Perhaps because he had left in such a hurry, he wore only a white shirt, without his pink feather coat.
Inside the Bedroom, the woman remained silent, staring at Werther with her dark eyes.
Werther frowned. He was stark naked, and his Observation Haki told him that the Donquixote Family members were all heading this way.
"Intent Blood, give me Crimson Regalia."
Blood-Red Tendrils surged from Intent Blood and wrapped around Werther's body.
Three seconds later, Crimson Regalia was complete.
