"Exactly, Captain Garrett. Is Joker playing us for fools? We've been waiting here two days, and there are still no weapons."
"If this drags on too long, Boss Jack won't be happy. Lord Kaido gave the order himself, and that bastard Joker still won't give us the weapons."
Garrett was getting angry too. He grabbed his thick beard and tore out a fistful with a sharp rip.
Then he did something revolting: he stuffed the clump of hair into his mouth and began chewing.
Crunch, crunch. It was hair, yet in Garrett's mouth it crumbled like a biscuit.
"Come with me, boys. If they don't give me an explanation, I'm not letting this go. Not even if Joker shows up."
Garrett had barely taken two steps when one of his men hurriedly called out to him.
"Captain Garrett, calm down! If we have to, we can wait. This isn't just Joker's territory. It belongs to that lord too. If we cause trouble here..."
His subordinate's words gave Garrett pause. Truthfully, he wasn't afraid of Joker, but that lord was another matter.
Still, what had happened today infuriated him. They had agreed on a time, yet when his crew arrived, the weapons were gone.
After thinking it over, Garrett decided that lord was probably still on the battlefield and wouldn't be back in Dressrosa so soon.
"It'll be fine. That lord is working with Lord Kaido now. He won't hold it against us afterward."
With a roar, Garrett led his men off the ship and marched straight toward Werther.
"Dellinger, what the hell is going on? You said there was no stock, so what are you loading right now? Are you playing me?"
