Rebecca's first instinct when she saw Werther was to draw her sword. Her second was to run.
But just as she tried to flee, a streak of blue light flashed before her, and Werther appeared in her path.
"Where's that one-legged Toy Soldier?"
Werther stood before Rebecca, lightning coursing through his hand.
"What one-legged soldier? I don't know."
Rebecca forced herself to stay calm, though she looked at Werther with fear in her eyes.
"You don't know? That's fine. With you here, he'll show up."
Crackle! Blue-white arcs surged, and Rebecca collapsed.
Before Werther, Rebecca never even had a chance to resist.
Werther crouched and rubbed Rebecca's ample breasts with his fingers.
"Are you really only sixteen? That's surprising. How do women in the Pirate World develop like this?"
Werther grabbed one of Rebecca's legs and dragged her beneath a tree.
He drew his hands apart, forming a chain of lightning, then hung Rebecca upside down from the tree.
The "one-legged Toy Soldier" Werther had mentioned was Kyros. If he caught Rebecca, Kyros would certainly appear.
Kyros had once been Dressrosa's greatest gladiator, and he had some skill.
His swordsmanship wasn't much, but he had been born with tremendous strength. He had once won three thousand consecutive matches at Corrida Colosseum.
But after Sugar turned him into a toy, Kyros's strength had fallen sharply. He had also severed one of his own legs before that.
Kyros had another identity: he was Rebecca's father.
Now that he had Rebecca, Werther didn't believe Kyros would stay away.
Once Rebecca was hanging upside down, she lost all ability to resist. Lightning periodically spread across her body, paralyzing her.
