A day later, Doffy returned to Dressrosa.
He walked into the Villa District with a grim expression. Werther and the others were eating lunch.
"Didn't catch him?"
Werther kept eating and asked casually.
"I was a little too late. That little bastard Luo actually wants me to resign as a Shichibukai. In his dreams."
Werther's eyes lit up.
"Then resign. Lure them to Dressrosa first. Caesar may not be that important, but he still has his uses."
Doffy froze.
"Resign as a Shichibukai? No. I've spent years building everything under the cover of that title. There are some things I can't do openly."
"Who said you had to resign for real? Just put it in the Newspaper."
Doffy's eyes brightened, and a smile slowly spread across his face.
"I'd considered that too. But won't the Antonio Family interfere?"
"No. They don't have time."
Werther's answer put Doffy completely at ease.
"Good idea. We'll do that."
With an agreement reached, Doffy sat down to eat with them.
"Young Master, I've captured Viola. Since you're back, we can question her together."
Doffy looked at Sugar in confusion.
"Viola? What did she do? What trouble could that woman possibly cause..."
Thud. Werther tossed a stack of documents onto the dining table in front of Doffy.
"We found these on her. She was probably going to hand them to someone."
Doffy picked up the documents and flipped through them. His expression grew darker.
"Who was she going to give them to? Don't tell me..."
"We don't know yet, but there's only one faction in Dressrosa that fits. Anyone else is unlikely."
Werther set down his cutlery and looked around.
"If you're coming to question Viola, don't eat too much."
Baby-5, Buffalo, and the others looked at Werther in confusion, their mouths full of food.
