What a perfectly lined-up team!
As Loa sucked in a breath and rubbed his head, the ice throughout the room suddenly began to contract. Then it lunged at him.
"Holy shit! Again?"
Loa clicked his tongue in annoyance, clenched his fist, and aimed at the oncoming Ice Pillar. "Hah! Take this!"
Clang!
Ice met fist, and the collision rang out like King striking iron!
Loa hadn't expected the ice to be so tough. A punch thrown with seventy percent of his strength hadn't even cracked it!
And he had used Armament Haki!
That punch could have dented steel.
Yet the ice didn't show a mark!
Whoosh!
Countless ribbons of ice rose beneath Loa's feet, drifting through the air like gauze. But after that clash, anyone who mistook them for something fragile would have been a fool.
Suddenly, the ribbons snapped taut and whipped around Loa's body. They moved so fast that the air crackled around them.
Snap.
Caught off guard, Loa was wrapped up like a dumpling. He struggled with all his might, only to find that even ribbons as thin as cicada wings were as hard as steel.
He could snap one or two, but with so many bound together, he was helpless.
Once they had caught him, the ribbons began to change shape. They fused together, quickly turning Loa into an ice sculpture.
Only then did Loa realize that this ice didn't seem able to hurt him.
Even the ice he created himself gave off a cold that ate into him
