A huge shadow appeared atop the wreckage of the house.
By the bright moonlight and the faint lights in the distance, Zephyr saw a vicious claw emerge from the dust. It slammed down, crushing the ornamental rockery in the Courtyard.
That one claw alone was twice his size!
The Monster radiated overwhelming power. Endless pressure spread from it, making it hard to breathe, yet Zephyr could faintly sense a familiar presence.
"That's Loa!!!"
"ROAR!!!"
Suddenly, the Monster roared at Kong, the sound shaking the heavens as though venting something. Dragon's Might surged outward in every direction without restraint.
Creak!
Under Zephyr's stunned gaze, dense cracks spread across the ground, the buildings, the trees, and even the stones.
He could feel his own body being pulled apart. A biting chill appeared without warning and froze everything around him in the blink of an eye.
Whoosh!
A fierce wind swept up countless chunks of rubble and broken timber, hurling them away like cannonballs.
Zephyr dodged them while taking the chance to study the Monster that had finally emerged.
What kind of creature was this?
It had a long, powerful body, its muscles bulging with explosive strength. Yet its shape remained sleek rather than bulky.
Two blue, batlike wings rose from its back. White bone spurs jutted from their joints, giving them a savage look. Now spread wide, the wings covered almost the entire Courtyard, casting a vast shadow on the ground beneath the moonlight.
Compared with the rest of its body, its claws looked rather slender.
