If Loa thought Momonga's gift was just a gift, he was badly mistaken.
This was Kuriswia. To get back from here by a typical Pirates route, he would have to cross Reverse Mountain, sail the length of the Grand Line, and turn at the Sabaody Archipelago before he could reach Marine Headquarters.
A Marine warship, with its Seastone-lined hull and special propulsion, could cross the Calm Belt directly from the North Blue into the Grand Line.
It saved a great deal of time!

Even then, the trip took at least three months!
Even aboard the Wavebreaker Warship, it was a full month's voyage.
Over such a long distance, what kind of animal could carry Loa all the way back?
Whatever it was, one thing was certain: this gift would be no ordinary one.
