While the soldiers struggled against the Poisonous Insects, one man kept drawing everyone's attention.
Tony drew his sword, and a deathly chill swept across the battlefield. He closed his eyes and gathered himself. After a moment, he drove his sword into the ground and roared.
"Blood Dance Frenzy!"
With his Motion, the ground rumbled beneath him. The surrounding soil shook violently, as though something were about to break through it.
Something was indeed coming. A moment later, everyone else saw what it was.
Pfft! Pfft, pfft, pfft!
Dense blood-red threads pierced the earth like a torrential downpour, spraying trails of sickly green fluid into the air.
But that wasn't the end. The blood-red threads bursting from the ground suddenly fused together with blinding speed, forming blood-red blades that seemed to grow from the earth. Then the blades swung, becoming a blur of slashes that cut the next wave of Poisonous Insects to pieces.
"So strong!"
"No wonder the Elite Camp is full of Monsters!"
The marines around Tony stood frozen with their guns ready, stunned to see him hold an entire flank by himself.
When the attack ended, Tony slowly pulled his Longsword from the ground, wiped the dirt from its blade with his cuff, and sheathed it.
"Lord Momonga, there are fewer Poisonous Insects to the Southeast. Should we break through that way?"
"The Southeast?" Momonga looked up from his furious swordwork and glanced in that direction. "All right. I hope your judgment is sound."
"All units, break through to the Southeast!"
"Yes, sir!"
