With so few minerals, things we take for granted, like ceramics and glass, are genuine luxuries to Skypieans." Loa picked up his chopsticks and placed a sliver of crabmeat in his bowl. "Shandia and the Skypieans have fought for four hundred years over the only island here with soil: Upper Yard, the Holy Land in everyone's eyes. Oh, and the Poneglyph you're looking for is there too."

"So that's where we're going next?" Robin opened her journal, where she had recorded everything she'd seen since arriving on Sky Island. "I heard it's God's Island, where the god who rules this Godland lives."
