Sitting on Shura's mount on the floor, Drake stared upward in despair. "You're saying my men never came here? So I've been wasting my time all along?"
Surrounded by Undead and Living Soldiers, the Sword Fighters looked from one another before finally turning to Rebecca.
"Yes, but we're still grateful for your help. Without you, who knows how much more we would have had to sacrifice to gain our freedom?"
"Ah, it was nothing."
Drake sighed, stood up, and headed toward the stairs.
"If they aren't here, I'll look somewhere else. You'd better leave this Godland quickly. We came with orders to wipe out the Donquixote Family. Once the fighting starts, we won't be able to worry about whether you live or die."
How big was Dressrosa, anyway? It was called a Godland, but it was only a medium-sized island. Drake and Crocodile both worked under Loa, so Drake knew exactly what Crocodile was capable of. If that man went all out, the contaminated area would be measured in kilometers!
Rebecca wanted to ask him to stay, but when she saw the bloodstained weapons in the dead soldiers' hands, she silently lowered her own.
The opportunity had come too suddenly, and it was far too shocking.
