The Marine warship was not slow. The scattered barrage had done little damage to the warship carrying Kaido and his men. Once the enemy had vanished from sight, Ulysses fished Crocodile—also cut in two—out of the sea.

The Island Turtle's two halves had not drifted far apart. Its enormous corpse meant enormous entrails, drawing swarms of sea beasts and Sea Kings to fight over the feast.
