"Is it really that dangerous?"
Loa's expression seemed genuine, but Robin still had her doubts. She also knew that if anything happened to her, Loa would be the one who suffered most.
With that in mind, Robin stopped insisting.
Besides, Loa had said he would go with her. Going out with her fiancé sounded much better than going with Enel and Simon!
Robin nodded. "All right. If you say so, I'll wait a little longer."
"My wife is a saint!"
Loa threw up his hands and cheered.
"Don't celebrate yet!" Robin rolled her eyes at his childish antics, then blinked. "Tell me the truth. Where did the stolen gold go?"
"Enel treasures his Ark Maxim. You may be the boss, but you went too far this time!"
Enel had hauled the Golden Ship, Gran Tesoro, back himself and handed a large portion of it straight over to Loa. He had no particular need for gold, nor could someone of his strength possibly be short of money. The Ark Maxim was his final effort to live up to his identity as a "god."
"Relax. Do you really think I'd do something that disgraceful?"
Loa paused, then shook his head with a rueful smile. "Didn't any of you notice? While Ulysses was merging with the Vampire Fruit, Enel added a lot of things to the Ark Maxim without asking."
"So what? It has enough power, doesn't it?"
Robin understood what Loa meant. She had worried about it earlier too, and had wanted to stop Enel from getting carried away. But then that illiterate had produced the blueprint Ratchet left behind and brought Ulysses in to vouch for him. Once he swore the additions were still within the weight limit, Robin had left him to it.
