"Yes!"
Loa's face instantly turned solemn, as if he were deciding something momentous. The contrast was so stark that Robin couldn't hold it in. She shook her head with a wry smile.
"Can't it wait? The next flowering season is a whole year away."
Robin had planted flowers on Turtle Island ages ago for their wedding. Just as they were about to bloom, Kaido had smashed them to pieces with one punch!
Robin hadn't given up. She'd planted them all over again, and they were due to bloom tomorrow. The whole of Turtle Island would be covered in flowers—red and blue, vivid and pale—and now Loa wanted to leave!
No one could blame her for feeling resentful. She could slap Loa across the face and still be in the right!
Loa could only smile bitterly at her words.
"I don't want our peaceful life after the wedding interrupted. I can't promise you a future together without giving you a safe one. My pride won't let me. Besides, until Poseidon is dealt with, this world will never know peace!"
"That's why I'm asking: with that childish streak of yours, how do you manage to scheme so much?" Robin shot him an exasperated look and went back to knitting her sweater.
"You don't need to be that smart when you've got better information! After that, it's just a matter of using a few simple tricks."
Loa knew Robin understood him, and his cheekiness came right back. He darted over, sat on the edge of the bed, and bent down to press his ear against her belly.
"What did Kureha say? Is the baby okay?"

Laughing despite herself, Robin poked his face—tough enough to withstand a cannonball—with a knitting needle. "What could be wrong after just one month? If you couldn't sense
