This was getting confusing. The family ties were getting really confusing!
Ivy instantly felt a headache coming on, though as a Consciousness Body, she had no head to ache. Still, "crossed wires" seemed about right: ripples were spreading across her body.
Watching Ivy mutter to herself in bewilderment, Robin asked Loa with an awkward but polite smile, "Is your mother always like this?"
"Just ignore her. She's running low on power!"
Loa rubbed his chin irritably, then explained to Robin, "It's just as you heard, and just as I told you before. Poseidon and I originally belonged to the same body. Later, we split in two. I represent the orderly and benevolent side of the Great Dragon's body, while the one left in Mary Geoise represents destruction and chaos. Every living creature has those two opposing sides. Great Dragons are just a little different."
"Then why did she abandon her own body? And split it into two?!!!"
Was that even possible?!
Robin was floored!
"For the sake of my personal safety, let's call that an accident!"
Loa smoothly sidestepped the subject. "Because of that accident, she lost control of her body. That's where the Great Dragon's body becomes unusual."
"Human nature is evil from the start! Once freed from the restraint of a Soul Consciousness, the Great Dragon's utterly unreasonable advantages as a species cause its evil side to grow without limit—until it destroys the world!"
"To keep this world safe, Mom split the body into the two parts I just described. Then she used our power to create a Seal and locked away the evil side. The Poseidon I have to face is that Evil Dragon."
"Watch what you say! That's you too, Ghost! Er, no! That's not right either! What exactly is the relationship here?"
"I see!"
