Before Wuli and the Straw Hat Pirates entered the fight, life there had been peaceful. But as the battle intensified and strange tremors repeatedly shook the island, its residents began to panic.
If the Marines hadn't maintained order, the place would have descended into chaos long ago. Even so, the Marines keeping watch were baffled by the force of the fighting. The disturbance was far too great.

"Who's fighting with that kind of power? Is the enemy really that strong?"
The Marines recalled the terrifying explosion and looked toward the flames towering into the sky. Their faces paled with fear.
Worse, the frightened residents and volcano tourists were desperate to leave, no matter what stood in their way.
After that earth-shaking explosion, fear and desperation burned in their eyes.
"Let us onto the train! The volcano's erupting again!"
"I need to get off this dangerous island right now!"
"What are you Marines doing? Get out of our way!"

They could only try to calm the crowd, but the people had lost all reason. They had one thought left: get away from this place as fast as possible.
