A sea of fire surged across the sky. Wave after wave of flame clawed upward, as though trying to swallow the heavens.
Beneath the flames, smoke spread everywhere, like thick May clouds soaked in soot descending to the ground.
The smoke churned. Suddenly, four figures flew out of it. The sheer force of the blow sent a fierce gust around them, scattering the smoke before they slammed into the ground and left a massive crater.

Inside the crater, Luffy spat out a mouthful of blood. Frustration filled his eyes. "Even that wasn't enough to bring him down!"
He was covered in wounds. Like the other two, he could no longer fight. Even so, in that final clash, the two sides had only fought to a draw.
Across the widening fissure, magma boiled underground. Particles of light gathered into a human silhouette, and Kizaru soon took shape.
He looked toward the volcano stirring back to life in the distance. As the ground grew hotter, cracks spread through the ice Kuzan had formed around the Dyna Stone, and parts of it began to melt.
Kizaru's face darkened ominously. He stopped holding back his power, and a mighty aura swept outward. Wuli and the others, along with everyone else on the battlefield, felt its crushing pressure. Even breathing became difficult, and the ground beneath their feet began to split.
His mission had failed. The island would be destroyed, setting off a chain reaction through the earth's veins. The consequences were too terrible to imagine.
He turned his gaze on those responsible. Never had his killing intent burned so fiercely.
