The Marines aboard the Marine warship stared dumbfounded at Jewelry Bonney, who just kept eating. How could she still have room for more?
Her bright pink hair hung loose around her delicate little nose and soft, heart-shaped lips. It was a shame her mouth was smeared with food, leaving her looking so messy that they wanted to wipe it clean for her.
But the little girl often wore a nasty expression. Even so, she was adorable, like a rebellious child.
Chomp, chomp~
Jewelry Bonney bit into a chunk of meat, her mouth stuffed full. When she noticed the Marines watching her, she frowned.
Huh?
Jewelry Bonney swept them with a fierce glare. The Marines immediately turned away, staring at their noses, gazing into the distance, or looking up at the sky.
"Hmph. Marines."
Jewelry Bonney picked up a piece of meat bigger than her face and swallowed it in one gulp.
Gulp~
She had never liked the Marines, especially since they had captured her before. But she couldn't exactly beat up every Marine in front of her right now!
Out of sight, out of mind. She channeled her frustration into her appetite and started another eating frenzy.
"Report!"
A Marine trotted up behind Wuli and stood smartly at attention. He had come aboard after Wuli's promotion to Commodore.
He knew a little about Wuli's exploits and admired him greatly. He felt proud to serve under such an officer.
"What is it?" Wuli asked.
"Ah." The Marine snapped back to himself and quickly looked away. After sneaking a glance at Jewelry Bonney, he reported, "Commodore Wuli! There's hardly any food left on the warship."
Wuli had known this would happen sooner or later. "How many days can we last?"
The Marine hesitated. "Less than three."
