A huge fissure appeared in the deck and kept spreading, making the Marines charging at Coribou falter.
One of Coribou's hands came down like a vast canopy, crushing several Marines beneath it. He swung his right hand, and his shovel became a massive dark blur. Wind howled as the other Marines surrounding him were swatted away like flies.
Aboard the Pirate Ship, no one could stop Coribou. The Marines' faces grew grim, while the pirates still fighting back cheered and laughed at the sight.
"Coribou's too strong. We can't hold him down," a Marine said, staring at him with worry.
"What do we do? We'll lose at this rate."
The Marines had held the advantage at first, but Coribou was slowly turning the tide.
Wet-Haired Caribou looked away from his younger brother. His long tongue hung out as his gaze settled on the figure at the bow of the Marine warship, a man wearing a Justice Coat who appeared to be its commanding officer.
"Keh-heh-heh. Are you the officer in charge of this ship?" Wet-Haired Caribou asked Wuli with a sinister grin. Murderous intent filled his eyes. If he killed this man, they would win.
"Hm?" To Wet-Haired Caribou's surprise, the damned man did not answer. He kept watching the battle on the Pirate Ship, ignoring Caribou completely.
Caribou followed Wuli's gaze. A petite figure had jumped onto the Caribou Pirates' ship: a little girl with long, straight pink hair, denim overall shorts, a white short-sleeved shirt, brown knee-high boots with short heels, and heart-shaped lipstick.
She looked familiar, but he could not place her. He turned his glare back on Wuli.
"Damn it! Damn it!" Wet-Haired Caribou's expression darkened as anger flared inside him. You damned bastard. How dare you ignore me!
