Ye Chen raced ahead, with Lucci close behind. One skimmed across the waves while the other ran through the air.

Behind Ye Chen, huge waves churned and blades of air flew. Lucci attacked as he chased, his strikes falling like a storm. He wanted nothing more than to cut Ye Chen down into the sea.

But Ye Chen was too fast. Even after a furious barrage, Lucci failed to wound him. Before long, they reached the Passenger Ship. Ye Chen sprang up, turned several forward somersaults, and landed lightly on the deck. Lucci followed him aboard.

"Wait!"

Ye Chen raised a hand for Lucci to stop. Lucci stared at him coldly, bloodlust in his eyes, and advanced step by step. Ye Chen pointed beneath their feet. "Lucci, aren't you afraid you'll destroy the ship?"

"That's not your concern. You'll be dead before that happens."

Lucci lunged. He closed on Ye Chen with Cheetah's speed and drove a heavy punch at him, intent on killing him with a single blow.

Ye Chen hurriedly flipped backward to dodge. He had barely found his footing when a cold gust swept toward the back of his head. Lucci's leg whipped out in a side kick, cutting through the air with a piercing whistle.

Lucci showed no mercy. He had always carried out his superiors' orders with distinction, but this mission had dragged on far too long. To him, it was a terrible disgrace.

Ye Chen reacted a fraction too slowly and went flying from Lucci's kick. Just before he sailed off the deck, he used Thousand-Pound Drop to bring himself down. The instant his feet touched the boards, Lucci charged again.

Ye Chen gritted his teeth. "Lucci, don't say I didn't warn you."

"Save it. Rankyaku!"

Lucci snorted impatiently and kicked.
